Shure SE315 (Black)

Pros: The sound quality is very crisp all around, and after fooling with the fit and installing aftermarket tips it became deep and rich while retaining clarity. Not the amount of base I got from a pair of Klipsch buds for about half the price, but also did not

Cons: The SE315's are very picky about thier placement. If one gets tweeked a little in the ear canal the bottom end drops out of the sound. This happens a little to easily for my liking even with a good fit attained through the right size and style tips.

Summary: I purchased these as much for the durability as the Shure sound quality. I got what I expected and find myself smiling at the SQ while listening to many different styles of music through these. I have had better sounding buds for a little less money, but they all fell apart within months of owning them. I cannot forsee this being a problem with these because of the high quality build and the detachable cord. So far I have used them just about daily for 6 months and feel like it was a good purchase but did not have the mind blowing staisfaction that I felt with my first pair of Shures soemthing like a decade ago.
