"It's nice in some genre only."
Pros: the clarity of the shure is very nice, especially when there is a guitar. i like it so much.
Cons: the tight bass doesnt work well. when i want to listen to r n b music. this earphone was very poor. nonetheless, the isolating doesnt work well. when i was in a bus, i heard much noises.

Pros: Crisp highs, but not painfully so in the usual unbalanced way. Deep bass if ear buds are inserted correctly (otherwise it will sound trebly). Well balanced.

Pros: Crisp sound across the ranges. Noise isolation; variety of buds great for small ears. Volume much louder than all earbuds I've used. SWEEET!
Cons: Cord could be longer, not quite use to the multiplug connections, prefer direct line to mp3 player. PTH connect is way too chunky. Expensive

"Two defective pair in a row!"
Pros: The packaging was nice. Shure customer service was nice on the telephone.
Cons: I was completely disappointed by their poor manufacturing quality. On two separate pair, the foam sleeves were not removable from the casing. Shure cust. service took no notice of what was wrong with my pair, and sent another with the same defect.

"Best sound but wiring is fragile"
Pros: The best sound I've ever experienced. The customer support reps are very understanding about replacing the faulty units.
Cons: The wiring and rubber coating becomes brittle with age and cracks and frays, especially the part that wraps around your ears.
