"Overpriced"2.0 starson by shawnfbkev
Pros: decent sound
Cons: Fit, comfort and price
Summary: I bought them.. big mistake... these are VER VER VERY difficult to wear.. not to mention getting them in your ears properly!... they are way overpriced. I expected perfection.... the Shure SE535 is not perfect ....the fitment is so difficult.. each time you put them on expect to take 30 seconds or more.. easily...... the sponge sleeves that fit inside the ear canal are lame at best... they squeeze down and the inner plastic tube is felt in the canal after several songs of wear.. and it HURTS!.. I tried all of the adaptors..none are comfortable... the wire is VERY stiff, there is a loop system that is supposed to loop over the ear.. and it is cinched with a collar on the wire system..a PITA.. ... running and athletics with the Shure SE535? forget it! every step every movement is heard through the wire.. and the inner ear system is so intrusive with body sounds that I hear my heart beat!!!!... There is just wayyy too much distraction with these headphones to overcome the decent sound quality.. the fit, the comfort, the body sound, the stiff wire, the lengthy time to actually put on the headphones and the HUGE price all detract from the sound to make these one of my least favorite headphones... AKG cans, B&W P60's, etc blow these away for half the price when considering all of the above... OUCH!!!! I just moved my jaw while typing and had these in my ears!!! Warning... don't move your jaw if you are wearing these... it alters the sound and will hurt!!!
in short... way over rated!!! avoid ...there are phones better out there especially for this price
