These are the worst pair of headphone I've ever owned

Pros: Looks stylish

Cons: The overall quality

Review: What a disappointment.
I bought these headphones thinking they looked cool and unique. That is about the only praise i have. Some many thing where bad. they overall sound quality was mediocre at best, there was next to no outside noise muffling, they couldn't get very loud for the size, they where loose and slid off everyone heads and had an extender cable they snagged on everything. with in a week they started to break. they squeaked when i walked, so loud i could hear it on high blast, the small pieces that attached the cuffs broke off so now they rattle around inside and the cuff fall off periodically. then the extender snapped off without me knowing and now my ipod wont fit in my pocket. finally they simply broke and wont make any noise. I always took care of them and never drooped or hit them, still their dead now.
So, if you want pretty looking headphone and care nothing about actually quality, these are the headphones for you. I f not then do not but the Skullcandy G.I.

poor bass for the size of the earphones but looks great

Pros: -look great
-comfortable

Cons: -bass isn't good

Review: Great looking, comfortable but the bass is a disappointment but the the product has better is much better highs and lows compared to the skullcandy skullcrushers but the skullcrushers blow the G.I away with the bass

If you want a decent sound, then don't bother

Pros: Looks awesome

Cons: Terrible sound.
Headphone speakers is not mounted properly (Move inside shell).
Comes with a screwdriver set that does not fit any of the screws on the phones.
Like listening to headphones thru toilet roll tubes.
Not made from a sturdy plastic.

Review: These headphones look great however I could not even promote them 2 anyone based on the terrible bass responce and tinny sound.

Sound wise these are worth no more than $30 topz.

Fantastic for the price

Pros: Really good balance of lows and highs.

Cons: In line volume control placed a little too high.

Review: I ordered these and was so excited because of how awesome these things looked. And I was right. My hair now has waves by my ears because of how much i listen to these. I have no idea why everyone complains. The sound actually improves over time so if you listen to them right out of the box, don't give up yet...
The bass: really balanced with the treble. Any less and i'd say there's too little bass.
The treble: What I kind of liked about the treble is (and this may be because i'm switching from the smokin buds) not annoying at all. I can listen to the high pitched electric guitar or cymbal crashes and not feel like I'm gonna go deaf, but at the same time, I can hear them really well.
The only thing I found concernable is how the cord is way too short without the extension cable (included). It's not too long with it, but since you have an extra plug, it could get annoying, but that really isn't much of a concern at all. I would also like it if the volume control were a little lower so i don't have to strain my eyes to see it so close to my head, again no big thing.

Generally These are insanely comfortable. They're lighter than I thought and that's a really good thing, the ear "cushons" i guess you could call them, are super comfortable. The camo colored ones are more comfortable, but less sound blocking since they aren't made of leather. They also come with an extra leather pair which are comfy as well, but I'd imagine after a while they'd get hot now that it's spring, dont know yet.

The last thing I gotta rave about is the POWER. These things really pack a punch. I've heard too many complaints about people around you hearing them at a normal volume, but as far as i'm concerned, thats a good thing... And they don't just hear the screeching like (vomits a little) ipod earbuds, they actually hear the music at about a 2 foot radius depending on the volume. Anyway actually listening to these is a great pleasure. Ipod users don't listen to this part because I've never used these on an Ipod. I had to tweak with my Rio Karma's 5 band eq just a little to change from smokin buds. Im guessing the main complaint of not enough bass comes from Ipod users, but as far as I know, the bass is superb yet balanced. I noticed on some headphones that i've experienced have overdone the bass to a point where there isn't enough treble and when you try with the eq, it becomes screechy. These don't do that at all. Plus when listening to these, you feel like you want to turn them up really high, but then decide not to for the safety of your ears. I've listen to bose quiet comfort phones before, and when listening to those, it feels like if you turn the volume up any higher (which isn't very high) they'd explode or something. Just my opinion.

I'd better wrap this up. Bottom line, these things are fantastic. Even when not wearing them, putting them around your neck without listening looks really cool. I highly recommend these to any audiophile.

These are OK..

Pros: Nice looks, sturdy, good accesories

Cons: Bad sound quality, a bit tight

Review: I just got these today and they sound bad. Muffled bass and distorted treble. I had a Sony MDR-XD200 and they broke, so I replaced them with these and...not worth it. Don't buy these.

Great Sound, but no Bass

Pros: Better Mids and Highs than the Skullcrushers, more user-friendly, does not require a battery

Cons: FLAT BASS!! A little large and unwieldy

Review: I recently took the GI's on a trip to Denver, and I am impressed with these, however, there is no real bass, but the mids and highs are more profound in these. I like these for their better overall sound, however, there is no real bass to them, and you hear ambient noise when listening to music through them. Overall, a pretty good, but not Great product.

Good headphones for a low price.

Pros: Good design, with light -weight feel, and good sound.

Cons: Needs more bass. Ditch the camouflage.

Review: SkullCandy GI DJ Stereo Headphones offer a low cost option for a full size headphone. The sound quality is OK for simple Mp3 playback. I would like to see more bass out of the 40mm drivers, but what do you expect for $30? The in-line volume control is a nice feature, I use it often. Also the extra ear cups (in black) was a welcome surprise, I'm not a fan of camouflage. SkullCandy also included a nice black leather storage pouch for the GI. this too is a nice touch.

If you're looking to listen to high bit-rate audio, then the GI's are not for you. If you are in need of a low cost general use pair of full size headphones (use, abuse, then loose)the SkullCandy GI is for you!

Mediocre Quality, Nice Design

Pros: They look pretty for streetwear.

Cons: The sound quality was disappointing.

Review: Don't invest in Skullcandy if you're an audophile.

User Rating: 7/10

Very cool headphones, I am impressed. Skullcandy makes a great product.

Pros: Cool design and color scheme, Good sound quality, Lifetime Waranty

Cons: Bass not as good as I thought, Kind of bulky

Review: These are a sick pair of headphones, I recommend them to anyone who doesn't leave the house without a music player. They are comfortable and stylish, though they are not the most compact headphones on the market.
