"Broke within months of purchase."

0.5 stars  | on by alexanderyneal

Pros

They look cool. Semi-comfortable.

Cons

Sound quality is not great considering the cost.
They are poorly designed, a fatal weak spot exists in the headband near the cushion, it snapped and broke after only a few months of use.

Summary

For the expense, these headphones are poorly designed and very susceptible to breaking.

I received these cans as a gift in March of 2010. At the time and for the price, they were quite decent, and a great gift. I used them all the time, but understand that these are not like the headphones of today. Ever since Beats by Dre came out, there seems to have been a big rush to build good looking, good sounding headphones for the main consumer market. Comparing these headphones to that it's nothing. I own the Phillips/O'Neill Stretch headphones (bought for $55) and they blow these out of the water.
But, if you like on-ear headphones with a flashy look, and your not an audiophile, you'll probably be happy with them.
Something worth pointing out is that these headphones are all plastic. The only visible metal is in the pins at the joints and the gold plating on the end of the headphone jack. I initially thought that would be a problem, and I was sure these wouldn't last more than a year, even though I baby all my electronics. I am glad to say that these are going strong three years later, with the only visible damage being some worn out parts on the designs. So all aesthetic damage, no functional damage.

"Amazing for the price"

4.5 stars  | on by jermrivers

Pros

Great Bass
Amazing Design
Comfortable

Cons

On ear headphones arent my favorite but I can deal with it.

Summary

If you're an audiophile, these headphones may not be your best option, but for the standard, or even begineer audiophiles, they're great headphones. Love em.
