"The fit wasn't that great."
on by feedthecutPros Great sound for the price.
Cons The fit is flimsy.
Summary I purchased these headphones at a clearance price. When I got them home and tried them out, I found that the fit was too flimsy and didn't really wrap around that well. If you're looking for a headphone that will make good contact on the sides or enough to where you'll be able to move around without the headphones sliding off, then keep looking. The look and design (not the construction) of these headphones is really cool, I just wish they would've put equal thought into how the headphones would fit.

"Disappointed with Skullcandy - avoid online purchases!"
on by bjc_102988Pros Can't tell yet. Still waiting for delivery or to be able to make contact with the company's customer service via phone or email.
Cons Skull Candy customer service is the worse I have ever encountered. Called customer service several times and got a recording that they "are catching powder". Sent 3 emails. They promised a response within 24-48 hrs -- never received response.
Summary Skull Candy company has horrible customer service. In my opinion, everyone should avoid online purchases with them. Still have not received our order. They immediately charged our card but will not answer the phone or respond to emails regarding the order.

"Be sure to save your receipt... You'll need it..."
on by DrayksterPros -Great looks
-Cool Design
-Great Color Options
-Foldable to fold for easy storageCons - Well below average sound quality
- Poor construction
- Cheap "plasticky" feel
- Too fragile for day to day useSummary These headphones are like a great looking woman that's as dumb as a sack of diapers and has bad teeth. Looks great at first glance, but when you examine the details there are absolutely no redeeming qualities...
I'd heard some good things about the SkullCandy Smokin' buds, so I figured these would be good as well. The pictures give the appearance of a well-constructed, heavy duty type headphone, but its all plastic and cheap.
If you have money to burn and are looking for something cheap that'll break easily, then go for it. If not, trust me, you will quickly return them, just like I did. -
"Forget the negative comments..."
on by Ima_RoxtaarPros Sound- amazing sound quality
Appearance- awesomeCons There are a few "minor" negative things that I guess I have to inform you of.
Endurance- not great, but still good.
Comfort and wearability- ahh...pain...too tight...Summary Pros in further detail:
Compatible with all music/sound producing things. (In case your wondering! O_o)
Sound- these amazing headphones produce amazing sound quality that will literally blow your mind if you have the volume at anything over halfway. Unlike with ear buds, they block out surrounding noise (yay!!!) so full volume is a lot louder.
Appearance- these headphones have an original design in both its compactability and designs on it that come in a huge variety of colour options and combinations. You really are spoilt for choice.
There are a few "minor" negative things that I guess I have to inform you of.
Endurance- unfortunately, these headphones don't have a great reputation for endurance. However, with proper care, i.e, not seeing how far you can stretch them without breaking the headband or something crazier such as seeing if you can drive over them without them breaking, they should last you. However, if you are insane, or curious enough to test this out, then skullcandy will either replace your headphones or refund you: www.skullcandy.com/warranty . Aren't they nice?
Comfort and wearability- Despite previous reviews I have read about these headphones being so loose that they fall off at the drop of a hat (i.e. your hat falls, you bend to pick it up, headphones fall off), I beg to differ. Mine are a tight fight. So tight in fact, that they are painful to wear: bending the tips of my ears against my skull. However this could be simply because I'm wearing them wrong, or because I'm wearing my glasses while using them. I have tried without and found that to be much more comfortable. I'm not used to headphones.
As I mentioned in appearance, these headphones are compact in the way that they fold up. Yes, I have seen them folded up (a friend of mine who had them knew how to fold them up, I say "had" as she broke the headband by stretching them every time she put them on to avoid messing up her hair.) there are no instructions with them as to how to do so, but she said that she found out how via the internet. I'm currently still searching. Or, more accurately, about to search.
So, great sound, warranty, appearance, and price!!! These headphones are awesome and I would recommend them, provided you are careful with them if you want them to last.
