Pros Strong low end, Tight - high end attack, Price
Cons At 15 bucks, zero cons
Summary I have too many headphones, I sent my first pair ever back. Sennheiser. CX 300's. At what they cost, they should be ashamed. I have several Sennheisers I love. HD-485, PX-100, Mx-55's(good sound and locks in your ear). Those are good Sennheiser stuff. These ScullCandy Smokin' Buds, Model INK"D -smoked the CX300, On par with Sony MDR 51's and 71's or better depending on your tastes. If you buy these, I know they will not disappoint you. They trilled me. At 15 bucks at target, they killed me, I bought 3 more. I do not write a lot of reviews. When I take the time to do so, I belive in the product. The thicker wire feels solid. If you find a good set of headphones at this price, let me know, I want to hear em. If you include price- rate this a ten.
Pros Sound quality, fits in ear, price
Cons Breaks easily
Summary I first bought my pair of Skullcandy headphones in October: I absolutely loved them when I opened the package. I could listen to my Zen MP3 player on a much lower volume, with a much better sound. I could hear little pick ups, bass lines and backgrounds, without the background of outside. Great for listening to while walking or in a bus.
Unfortunately, my first pair broke almost a week after I got them: the right earbud's wiring was disconnected from the main plug, and therefore I lost hearing in the one bud. I return the headphones, and it happened again. After the first time, I stopped wrapping the headphones around my Zen, but they broke a third time.
Since then, I haven't had a chance to buy another pair, or even buy another newer pair of Skullcandy headphones. Best Buy has been fantastic with returns and helping me out; apparently this has happened to a lot of people, including three of my friends.
Overall, I love the quality, the price and the way the headphones pop into my ears perfectly, but the major downside are connection problems.
Pros Great price, good sound isolation and sound quality
Cons Broke after about 2 months of use
Summary I loved the headphones, amazing price and sound. One day the sound in the left ear went out, then two days later (about 10 min ago) the other ear went out. Good news is that skullcandy claims to have a lifetime warranty on all of their products, so I'll believe it when I see it.
"pretty good"on by joey-jo-jo
Pros pretty good sound with an additional volume selector on the headphones for increased sound
Cons very easy to break, extremely long cord
Summary I recently received a pair of these headphones which i ordered online. I was pretty excited about getting the headphones and used then as soon as I could. There is pretty good sound from the ear buds and they stay in my ear fairly well.
Unfortunately for me The next day my left ear bud goes dead for no apparent reason, and only a day old too. After looking at a few more reviews i see that quite a lot of people have had problems with their headphones breaking too. My advice to people who buy these headphones is make sure you don't do anything radical or extreme to them. If so you can expect broken headphones pretty easily.
Good thing there is a lifetime warranty
Pros amazing bass and treble, cant hear anything outside with them on
Cons only three bud sizes, start to irratate after about three or four hours
Summary I bought these at FYE a long time ago but my first pair broke and i admit that it was mosty my fault for not treatijng them well. My second pair i have had for about a year now and they still have life in them. When i dropped my first iPod in the pool with these headphones nothing happened i am still using them as i type. I used them on a 6 hour flight and they started to irratate after a while but for $20 these are the things to buy. The buds can come off the headphones themselves easily though.
