Pros: Sound, comfort, sound
Cons: None I can find right now
Summary: Not sure how the reviewer would favor the Atrio M5s over these phones (I have owned Atrios since they came out), but it's game, set, match for the SA6s over the Atrios. Not even close. Can't speak for the Shures or UEs, since I don't own them. But all I can say is these phones rock. They are fantastic across the sound spectrum (highs, mids, bass). I used the bass+ and treble+ modules to get the best sound to my ears. One thing, you do need to get a deep seal, or you will not hear them at their best. I tried out the medium flanges that came with the SA6s, but moved to a pair of yellow Shure foamies, which are more to my taste. Perfect match, in my view.
Anyway, anyone looking for a real audiophile pair of IEMs, look at these. Admittedly, I have only used them a few hours, and build quality/durability is also important. But SQ-wise, these babies kick butt.
Paying $250 for a pair of IEMs is high, but these are well worth it if they are durable as well. I've owned a dozen pair of in-ear phones, and these are in another league.
