"Worst...Headphones...EVER!!!!! !" on by cowtown82
Pros: Wait, there are Pros? Thats news to me!
Cons: Umm, just about everything!
Summary: These headphones would be great for anyone who has four hands because the way the speakers are mounted (sideways, sound is not directed into ear) you constantly need two hands to press them in so you can hear anything!!! I guess Sony is trying to tap into this new market. They do stay on really well, but if you can't hear anything why bother buying them. Trust me, don't waste your money!!!

"Hear Today, Gone Tomorrow" on by Intangible Fancy
Pros: Excellent design, decent sound
Cons: Inevitable failure
Summary: When I first got these as a present, I was skeptical. Up until then, I was used to the traditional over-the-head phones. It took some getting used to, but eventually, I grew to like my Sony earphones.
However, after so many months (not sure how many), the left phone went out. I figured it was a fluke and bought another pair. A few months later, the same thing happened. I tried another brand which functioned well but had a painful design and ended up getting another pair of Sonys, for old times sake.
Same thing.
I haven't sworn off Sony earphones. Just bought a pair (of a different type) and am so far satisfied. However, I doubt I'll ever try these again. -
"Fantastic value!" on by bermeomex
Pros: Great sound, comfortable and cheap
Cons: None so far
Summary: These headphones are fantastic value for your money, I got them for 9 bucks and they have fantastic sound. They have really crisp highs, good mids and good, decent lows... Some people report they fail after some months, but I only have1 month with them but am really happy w/'em. I suppose 'Abysmal' didn't know how to wear them, as the sound is actually more direct that regular earbuds, either that or his/her ears are not 'regular'...

"Sony headphones" on by isaacfarache
Pros: Very Confortable, Good Sound Quality
Cons: Wear out very quickly
Summary: This Headphones very good, they have a good price and good quality, are confortable to the ear, but the only problem is that after like three or four months of use (like 5 hours a day), they wear out. I´ve owned 3 of them fot this reason, but since they´re so cheap, I really don´t care.

"The future of headphone design" on by wlrube
Pros: As good as any earbuds, and THEY STAY IN YOUR EARS!!!!
Cons: Not the greatest sound quality, but what can you expect from earbuds?
Summary: I never could understand how simple, iPod-style earbuds became so popular; they fall out of the user's ears if he so much as moves his head the wrong way. I once had a standard set of earbuds fall out because of the head motions I made when I started talking.
Whoever invented earclip earbuds is a genius. They have all the convenience of regular earbuds -- small and unobtrusive -- and yet, they stay on far better even than regular headphones. I will be amazed if they do not become the dominant headphone design within a few years.
That said, this model is a typical, ergonomic earclipped earbud with one quirk: the sound is directed into the skin of the user's ear, rather than directly into the ear canal. This is too obvious to have been accidental, so when buying, I figured it couldn't have just been a mistake. Indeed, when I tried them, they played just as well and just as loudly as any other earbuds I've tried. Sound quality suffers a bit, but it winds up no worse than any other earbud.
In short: these are probably the best earbuds on the market, for the sheer convenience factor of not having to constantly readjust them. Once they're in, they're in until you decide to take them out, period. Several times, when my music was off, I've forgotten that they were in my ears!
