"Good value, but cheap"
on by The Cool Onion HimselfPros Good sound quality and volume micromanaging. Cool winding case.
Cons Cheaply made, they broke on me after a year.
Summary These earbuds worked great for the time that they actually worked. I bought them for $15 and the worked fine with my CD player. However, they started having a bit of a connecting problem after half a year, so that it was nessicary to jostle the connector around in the jack to make the sound come out right. After a year, the connector got so that I had to constantly apply pressure to the wires at its base in order for the sound to come out both earbuds. After a couple days of that, I had to apply the pressure to get even one earbud to produce sound. Sony's 90 day limited warranty had expired, so repair wasn't really an option. If you need some good, inexpensive, but cheaply made earbuds, these are the ones. However they won't last you too long.

"Just got myself a pair of sony MDR e829v.."
on by mvpluidexPros Amazing sound quality, nice bass, crisp treble, loud sound, volume control, convenient carry case
Cons Rather short cable (i'm 6'5, i know) making it hard to place in deep pockets without bending, no choice of colours
Summary I'm no sound professional, but from my experience with earphones that I've had so far, I must say these earphones are SUPERB, and the first time you try them out is awe-inspiring. On top of that, the bass sound you get is nothing like i've heard so far, and the treble is clear and crisp.
That being said, they could have definitely done with a longer cord, comes in handy when you are well over average height, as well as flexibility with use on laptops.
All in all, I certainly have no complaints, and I can't get enough of this sound quality. Never spent so much time listening to music.. -
"Great headphones and still going after 6 years."
on by ranronPros All around side: good high, mid and lows. Low price. Good quality and reliable. Built-in volume slider.
Cons Not excellent in sound quality in any way, but for the price it's excellent.
Summary I've owned the same headphones for the past 6 years. That's everyday for SIX years. They still work new like the day I purchased them. They work great for the gym and the volume control is very handy. Sound quality is pretty decent. I've spent hundreds of dollars on different headphones, but the best thing I can say about these is they are cheap, offer decent sound, and really replaceable if they break (not that I have found any need to). They do what they do best and I highly recommend these.
