"Best I've Ever Had"on by Mr_Hym
Pros Really small, fit well, don't fall of ear, fantastic bass/mid range, great overall sound
Cons None so far
Summary I'm not exactly an audiophile, but I'm really picky when it comes to my headphones, since I literally have them on 24/7, including sleep. These headphones have to be the best I ever owned, and I've gone through at least a hundred pairs. I usually blow out an ear or two of even the most resilient pair of headphones in a month or less, but I've had these for 7 months now and they are as responsive as ever. The bass is deep, the sounds are balanced, and it really makes you feel like you're there. Extremely rich varieties of sounds are refreshingly distinguishable even to my music-weary ears, and I still can't believe how long they have lasted. I've had headphones for 4 times the price that didn't sound this good. I will definitely be buying Sony headphones in the future.
-Great Overall Value
Cons -Flimsy cord
Summary I got these headphones in Best Buy for about 18 bucks total (w/ tax in there too). I thought it was reasonably priced. When I first but them in my ear, it was a little uncomfortable at first because I wasn't used to the design of these headphones. But, after a few minutes, they felt really good. Now, the sound coming from these are great. The bass is nice and distinct, like it should be. The sound quality is better than average. Overall, it's great for what you pay for. For under $20, it's a great catch. The design is eye-catching. It reminds me of the more expensive Bose in-ear headphones. The design sure takes cues from them. It looks really good. Looks expensive when it's really not. So, that's awesome. Also, these headphones are a lot lighter in person. When you have them on, it's like they're not even there. It's that comfortable. The only drawback is that because the cord is lighter, it's softer and less durable. Plus, it's prone to tangling a lot easier and faster. But, other than that, they really are great headphones and an awesome value for what you get. I would recommend to anybody who's looking for headphones under $20 and want quality. Plus, it's made from Sony. I mean, what better reputation for audio than Sony? It's a must buy for budget-conscious shoppers who don't want to sacrifice sound quality or aesthetics, like me. :D
Pros -Excellent Bass
-Decent detail on mids
-Tangle free cord
Cons -High frequency detail not as impressive as mid and low frequency details.
Pros 1) Bass!! The bass is actually better than some more expensive in-ear Sony's.!
2) The clarity is quite acceptable, you wont get to hear all the details, but at the price, its more that what you expect.
3) Comfortable fit. Don't need to them push in.
Cons Low focus on treble, sometimes the bass is too much, but you can balance that with an equalizer.
They're not the best bass phones, we've all heard better. But again, look at the price.
The volume is not exploding, as we need it sometimes.
Summary I've been using these babies since the last 6 months, and I'm impressed. I've always loved Sony, and these pieces really convinced me about Sony's exceptional quality. They're no Boses or Seinheissers, but how many of you can shell out hundreds of dollars for 'phones which we barely hear for an hour or so. These are perfect for work-outs, since you get all the punch you need, and, more importantly, they don't fall off!! The fitting is amazing. If you want some 'phones for a quick work-out or a ride in the subway. Not for the music junkie, who really needs his bass and treble and clarity at the perfect level. Go for these if you want some fantastic 'phones at some loose change we have leftover after paying the pizza guy!
Pros Great sound:
- the Bass is as good as you're going to get for in ear bud headphones
- Solid mid and high end tones
- Fit nicely in your ears
Cons Break easily, even when taking care of the product
Noise problems such as crackling and popping after 1month or so of use
Plan on buying more than one set, but they are only 15 dollars on average
Summary I use these ear phones to walk around campus , study, and etc. They work nicely, and have a good sound for the money. However I have went through 2 sets with normal wear and tear (and I don't exercise with these headphones).
Sound quality is good, but it seems that they wear down and the cracking and popping is common with these sets. My third set is starting to do it after owning it for a month and a half, but it's bearable and not really that distracting yet.
The selling point is the price, they are cheap and replaceable. More expensive in-ear headsets do offer slightly better low end and mid range, but not enough for a person like me to spend the extra 40+ dollars. The rubber that wraps these keeps them comfortable and minimizes to it's best ability outside noise. If you don't mind buying a couple sets, these are worth it.
