"Feels like I am Seasick" on by crschol7

    Pros: Cheap, comfortable

Cons: Cord TOO LONG, makes you feel neauses

Summary: At first I thought it was Just me, but after having 6 different people try them and 4 or them having the same reaction... I am NOT nuts. There is an ODD sensation when you turn on the switch...like having a head cold, vertigo, and being seasick all at the same time...
they do a decent job of blocking white noise, but I could only keep them on for a few minutes at a time.
    I may have a defectice pair...who knows..
Also when you do turn them on..they DO get a LOT louder...

"Amazing sound!! Amazing Price better than Boste Q3 and Q2" on by jvas2

Pros: Sound, Comfort, Fold Design, Cost, Looks, Durability

Cons: Smaller would be nice, slight hiss but not noticeable when listen to music

Summary: For the price hands down these are the best headphones with NC money can buy. Heck I even listened to the Bose Q3 and Q2 with my Sony's present and the Sony blew away the Q3 in bass and especially clarity of vocals and guitar. Even the Q2 over the ear design didn't sound as good I fell the treble and bass cleaner in the Sony's. To my suprise with NC turned on without music the Sony NC6 cut out more background sound than the Q3 and Q2 against there jet imitation they had in the background...even the Bose' own salesperson when impressed. Bose is dreaming in technicolor if they think their units are worth $300 or superior to the Sony NC6. Save your money. The only thing I liked about the Q2 was the size was slightly smaller...that's it..north worth $300 on that.

"Excellent Headphones for the Price" on by bhartman33

Pros: Foldable, low energy consumption, mostly effective at reducing noise level

Cons: You get what you pay for. These aren't up to the quality of Bose.

Summary: First, the good news: These headphones do a lot to cancel out regular sounds (e.g., computer noise), they're foldable for easy transport, and they use a single AAA battery.

The bad news is, these aren't comparable to Bose headphones. The noise reduction range is only moderate, so I think if you're on a noisy plane, these headphones aren't going to cancel out the engine sounds, but they will make them considerably lower. Considering the fact that Bose headphones are $350, though, these are still a pretty good deal.

If you use the headphones exclusively for noise cancellation, you might notice the hiss of the noise-canceling device. But the level at which you'll notice this sound is so quiet, I don't know why anyone would bother using noise cancellation in that scenario.

"Good Sound, OK Noise Canceling" on by jhill7

Pros: Decent sound quality, comfrotable, long battery life, good cord length.

Cons: noise canceling could be better, some background noise when noise canceling is on.

Summary: I have had these headphones, and I have always liked them because they have fairly decent sound. They never punched out too much of the lower frequencies, but the overall sound was excellent.
I always thought that the noise canceling was decent...all until I tried the Bose Quiet Comfort 2's. Granted this is not a fair comparision, I realized what noise canceling is REALLY supposed to be like. However, these did a decent job, but there was always an audible background fuzz/noise whenever the noise canceling was on.
Overall, if you want some headphones that have great sound, a great price, are over the ear, and are not too picky on the noise canceling, buy these. However, if you really want a cheaper pair of effect noise canceling headphones, definitely get some that go over your whole ear, as you will find a huge improvement in the noise canceling!

"Good cheap headphones, and convenient for small use" on by sebtremblay

Pros: - Cheap, good sound, nice style, comfort

    Cons: Timid Noise cancelling

Summary: I just bought these headpones and honestly, for the price, the sound is good, they are comfortable and look great. I agree with everybody here: Noise cancellation is timid, but for that price, its what I'm expecting for.
I found them perfect for the office: cuts all the ambiant noise, making sound level confortable. for city use, it will cut ambient noises, but not the big traffic ones. Recommend it!
