"So uncomfortable"on by afakirani
Pros Cheap. Sound is not bad.
Cons Highly uncomfortable. Not well designed.
Summary I've had these for a while and I don't know if it's nust my headphones but inside each of the cans there is a small hard bump that places a great deal of pressure on the ear lobe. They are very uncomfortable for long periods of listening. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone. I've had many pairs of Sony headphones and these are by far the worst ones I've owned. Stay away.
Pros Pretty cheap, good noise canceling, decent base, very comfortable, portable, and has a carrying case
Cons I wish it was louder
Summary I got these yesterday and they sound good. They were $50 and I have to say, it was pretty worth it. They look stylish, they sound good, and they can fold up. The noise canceling is actually really good. They are the most comfortabe headphones I have ever used.
Pros None for my purposes, but your mileage may vary depending on what genre you listen to. I can imagine that they're decent for listening to voice only recordings.
Cons Underwhelming sound and noise cancelling. Not particularly comfortable. Would be better served with similar costing headphones that don't have active noise cancelling feature.
Summary If you primarily listen to hip-hop, r&b, or any other genre with similar audio qualities, then skip these altogether. Decidedly underwhelming sound and noise cancelling. Don't let the allure of "cheap noise cancelling" headphones lead you to waste the time or effort. Returning to the store first thing in the morning.
Pros OK sound quality
Cons Lack of Treble
Uncomfortable After Long Time
No On-Cord Volume Adjusting
Summary For the price I paid (about 50 bucks after tax) these are OK. They aren't super, but for the price, they are fantastic. If you know how to work an equalizer you can fix all those "no bass" problems everyone seems to complain about. The bass actually has no body until you turn on the "active noise cancelling" which doesn't really cancel noise anyway. What I did notice, is coming from my Skullkandy Hesh (which I strongly prefer) is that I didn't need to have my volume up as high to get the right feeling from my music. I cant emphasize the need for an equalizer enough, though. Albeit on WMP or your personal audio (phone, iPod, Zune) there are ways :)
Bottom line, pretty good but not outstanding.
"They're Ok"on by inventorjtp
Pros Compact Fold Design, fits nicely, and padded earpieces, good battery life
Cons bass is lacking, but improves when noise cancelling is on, switch is sometimes tripped on in my bag
Summary There ok for general use, i use them at school, Don't be expecting results like sitting in an empty room
