Pros I really think the sound is very good.
Cons The headphones are NOT comfortable-they are very tight on my ears
Summary I would say that are worth getting. They are dirt cheap and the sound is very good. It disappointing that they didnt put more thought into something as basic as comfort.
Pros Comfortable. Comes with 1/4" plug too.
Cons Sound quality is really poor. Muddy at best. Cost was $30 in Canada. I guess I got ripped off too!
Summary I was really disappointed, I bought these to replace a 5-year old pair of similarly priced Koss headphones. I was shocked at how bad the sound quality of the Sonys was. A cheap pair of ear-buds are better sounding than these. Honestly.
Pros - Great Bass and Mids.
- Nice treble.
Cons - Headband snapped.
- Foam was starting to peel.
Summary I could not believe that these headphones were $20 considering that the sound was just too amazing. I found out why it was $20 when a part of the headband snapped and the foam was getting all over my ears. Still. It was great while it lasted.
Pros sounds decent
Cons the cord sticks to my legs and the plug doesn't turn off the external speakers when plugged in.
Summary for 5 more dollars you could do so much better.
Pros - The sound quality is on par with the higher XD-100 series (the one with the option of movie and music mode). Good base, clear and very smooth sound.
-Reliability is very good, long lasting.
-Very comfortable when wore
Cons - Near the sliding frame, it would break after years of use and would disassemble with the main frame. However, it won't be a big deal because you can still put it in and it would still lock in. Use a small rubber band would do the trick.
Summary Remember MDR-V150, if you find one, consider buying it. For a $20 headphone, its really that suprising how good the sound quality is. Even beats my $30 headphone from Sony aswell (XD100).
