"Ok Heaphones, Nice Sound, but physical construction Needs Work!"
on by MusttafaPros Very clear, nice sound, with very good bass. Long cord that enable you to put the mp3/CD player in any pocket, keep ears warm:)
Cons Very poor construction, cheap cheap plastic, start to hurt the ear after 10 min especially when they are new:(
Summary Sony saddened me with this produt. It has really nice sound and bass they snug the ears but they have problems. I am on my second pair right now since the first pair right earcup to head band joint broke. I had it replaced at Best Buy (best store service around!) three months after i bought it, so best buy was nice enough to allow me to exchange them for a brand new pair even when my 30 days were up. These are made with cheap plastic, and for $30 i dont find them worth it, it should be more like $20 since of its cheap construction. They are a little big so storing them is not easy. I suggest to not use them in school or places where you constantly put them away and take them out again since this can make them break. Also these 'phones dont fold so another reason not to use in hide and take out conditions. When thses are new they hurt the ear badly after 10 minutes of listerning time, but after some use this wont happen.
All in all great sound, great bass, but not worth the $30 -
"Very good sound for the below-25 dollar class of headphones."
on by cliff_marslandPros Very nice sound for the price.
Cons The headband breaks.
Summary I used these for a year-and-a-half on my Creative Zens. I gave it an 8 because it's better than any other under-25 buck headphone I've had.
Of course the sound isn't going to match 250 buck headphones, but it's very clear and passable bass for that price range. Much better than the 14 buck Sentrys that went into the closet after a day.
The bad part is the headband. For people with big heads, one has to extend it to about it's limit, and it breaks. At the end, both sides were taped on and a pen held the left side in place. I've since upgraded to the MDR-V600 for my mp3 player, and I have an MDR-V900HD, which will soon replace the 600. I've also owned and used the 7506 a long time. -
