  • "Head Crushing Mud"
    2.0 stars
    on by conqr

    Pros: Long durable cord.

Cons: Headband snaps, comparatively weak volume output exacerbated by mid bass emphasis.

Summary: Owned one for years but had quickly shelved it. Clear emphasis of the design is bass, but it's muddy, inarticulate mid bass which muffles mid/upper range volume and clarity. A head to head comparison with almost any typical light headphones or earbuds shows just how muddy these headphones are, how much of the music is lost for the sake of 'fake' bass emphasis. It actually sounds and feels a little better AFTER the crushing headband is duct taped back together. I'm sure there a far superior products at this price point.
