"All around great headphones."
4.5 starson by FastfiddlerPros: Overall great sound, folding is nice, good long cord
Cons: Tend to hurt my head after a while.
Summary: I don't know where people are coming from on bad sound quality with these headphones. I have never heard better sounding ones. Plus, the sound quality depends highly on the audio source. These WILL NOT put out when hooked up to an iPod, which is where I'm sure many people are coming from. I have tried them on the iPod, and they sound as frail as the earbuds that came with. I personally have used Iriver and Iaudio devices with these. They are also great for gaming. I actually do get a sence of surround sound with these hooked up to my audigy. As far as the hinges breaking. I have had these things exposed to subzero temperatures, they have been used quite a bit. They are just under three years old and still holding strong in sound and structural integrity. I do have to dock them one point though, because they are not insanely comfortable for a long time. They are sort of heavy and hurt the top of my head after a while, so I have to shift them. But then again, I am a pilot, and the headset I use for that is much much worse. If you have plenty of money to throw around, and want big sound (these sound good for any genre i think), go for these. Otherwise, Best Buy has some sony earbuds. They go for about 46 bucks, they are white and have little rubber things that go in your ears. I do not know the model # for them though. But they actually have great sound that compares to the above set, but, THEY'RE EARBUDS!" They are remarkable.
