  • "Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"
    on by Webmom451

Pros Comfortable, affordable, readily available, easy (ish) to set up

Cons Noisy (majorly), unpredictable (sometimes they work and sometimes they don't)

Summary When I purchased these headphones (I paid $53.49 at Walmart) there weren't that many reviews and the ones that I did find were all over the ratings scale.

Well, let me fix that. ONE star. One star for comfort. They are definitely very comfortable. However, they are intolerably loud with a constant static buzz that drowns out any lower sounds, like two voices whispering on a television show, lower instrumental tones, and nature sounds.

I was only able to get them to work with my iPad, but never figured out how to attach them to my new-enough-to-work-with-wireless-headphones home entertainment system (which is why I bought them in the first place).

One other thing that was unfavorable about them is that the base (the transmitting portion) has to be attached to whatever device you're using (like my iPad, for example). I understand that this will be required no matter what headphones I buy, but the base/transmitter unit is so big that it COMPLETELY ends any "mobile" features of a device. These headphones are really ONLY meant to be used with a stationary stereo system.

  • "Static and fluctuating volume"
    on by Sleepingwell

    Pros Good battery life
    Comfortable

Cons Lots of static (that varies with head movement).
Volume fluctuates wildly (which HURTS when you have them loud, then they go to BOOMING out of the blue)

Summary Keep the receipt - you will probably want to take these back. I prefer the ear plugs that came with my (cheap) mobile phone.

  • "Bad Popping Sound"
    on by michaeljasinski

Pros Inexpensive, fit OK, sound is OK

Cons Headphones made random loud annoying popping sounds. This is not Sony quality. Only 90 day warranty! Special rechargeable battery is expensive.

Summary Don't waste your money on these. This is not a device worthy of the Sony label.

If you do your homework you will find that there is one manufacturer that makes a wireless headset that is cheaper, has good over all user ratings, and also uses standard rechargeable batteries and comes with a 1 year warranty!

  • "Works with Plasma TV (at least mine)"
    on by blogasur

Pros Easy setup, good reception, decent sound, price

Cons Sound quality isn't great, not my first choice for listening to music... but for xbox and movies it works great

Summary Bought them and will buy a second pair

  • "Nice product works great"
    on

    Pros great noise

    Cons charges long time
