"Incredible for the money!" on by neohope

Pros: Excellent all around sound reproduction, great sound isolation, great sensitivity, very comfortable

    Cons: wires are somewhat microphonic

Summary: These are great buds for the buck! I would think you'd have to spend at least twice the money to come anywhere close to the quality of they reproduce. They sound great no matter what type of music you're listening to. They present a very believable soundstage, and image very well. You will notice, as others have mentioned, they are a bit bass heavy. They are called "bass-freq's" are they not? Burn these bad boys in for a few hours, kick back and "laissez le bon temps roulez".

"Great earphones, but cheap plastic" on by penti01

Pros: great sound, not bad sound isolation, durable

    Cons: cheap plastic material

Summary: this is one of my few earphones i've tried after i became interested in music (around 3 years now), and it's one of my favorites... i love the sound as i'm a bass-addict, didn't expect it to isolate sound but it does keep noise out during airplane travel...

one thing that i didn't like is that as i got it out of it's plastic "case" one of earphones snapped into two, supported only by the wires! it did work after i taped them up, without sacrificing sound quality (compared it to a friend's, same model)...

after two or three months of use, it still worked great... then i accidentally dipped the already broken earphone into a glass of water as it hanged out of my shirt... guess what? it didn't break! sounds perfectly fine to me after drying it for a couple of hours...

i would definitely recommend this for those in a tight budget...

"Very impressed. & comparison to Sony Fontopia. READ" on by JeCZ2523

Pros: Great bass. Clear sounding as if you were at a concert. Earbuds dont attract earwax as my sony fontopia's did.

Cons: Some muffled on a couple of songs, but maybe i dloaded a song with a gliche or something. Wire gets easily tangled, and I dont like the 2 equal length wires for each earbud

Summary: Very good. My Sony Fontopias just broke so i read reviews about this and was reall hyped about gettin these. & i can tell a big difference between these and the Sony's, these are much clearer and much better bass that really gives a good musical experience. On a few songs however, it made a kinda bad, i guess muffled sound but that just might have been the quality of song i got i dont know. One thing that i wish these had were the wrap around the back of the neck wiring so i could let it dangle like a necklace, as i did with my Sony's. The wiring on these, feel kinda flimsy n reall rubbery like which i might have trouble with down the road. & ive been known to have a lotta earwax buildup and was expecting these to attract some of that, but i havent seen any on it yet so thats a bonus. These sound great, and at a great price... best choice unless you wanna buy some 500$ ones. These blow others outta the water hands down, kopp these forsure if you want a better musical experience!!!

"Can't imagine $100+ headphones sounding better." on by luckysubie

Pros: Sound Quality, Bass Reproduction, Clarity.

Cons: Cable are a little thin, as mentioned in the Cnet review.

Summary: I recieved these along with a Creative Zen Vision:M for Christmas. I don't think I would trade this for any other mp3 player and $1000s of dollars. The sound these miniscule speakers can produce is phenomenal. If you've ever heard a Bose display at an electronics store with the speaker feet from your heard and cranked it up, that's what these sound like. It really is amazing. Go grab a pair... you can't go wrong with 30 days to try them out.

"some white noise but otherwise a sound investment" on by chaddesch

    Pros: glorious sound

Cons: can be a bit bass heavy (not overpowering), picks up some white noise

Summary: I'm going to have to agree with C-net on this one. These definitely get at least an 8. I'm hearing stuff in my music that I wasn't able to pick up before with my regular headphones. They're uber-comfortable and fit right in my ear canal. They can be a bit bass heavy but it's not overpowering and the bass is very deep and smooth. Furthermore, I noticed that the headphones are picking up white noise from the devices I plug them in. It doesn't increase or decrease with the volume and it sounds quite consistent and pleasant with my laptop but I imagine it might get a little irritating and loud at some point with some other devices though. Overall, these headphones are more than worth the money compared to some of the other junk that's out there and compared to some of the unfathomably expensive ones.
