"SOUND QUALITY and FIT are superb; DURABILITY sucks"
on by echonomicsPros + Sound Quality
+ Design/Style
+ FitCons - Durability has been a huge issue; haven't had a pair that lasted more than 3 months
Summary [PROS]
At around $30-50, you're getting more out of the sound quality for what you're paying for. The sound is crisp and I love the enhanced bass which gives more depth to the music instead of making your mp3s sound like the songs they play on in-flight plane rides.
The style and design are simple yet fashionable and the ability to choose from a selection of bright color schemes is nice, but not very practical to guys over the age of 10.
[CONS]
Durability has been a HUGE issue for me. I've already bought 2 pairs of these earphones, both of which haven't lasted more than a month. I did use them quite frequently as I listen to my ipod during both of my 45 minute subway commutes to work and for my office, but it's not like i'm yankin the cord out of the device or swinging these things around like a lasso over my head or something. I've taken pretty good care of them over the few months they worked.
In both cases, I started to find that the audio in one earbud would come and go, according to the way the cord near the end of the audio jack would be positioned. I'd have to move the cord this way and that and try to stabilize the position to receive audio from the failing earbud, soon after which the problematic bud wouldn't play any sound at all.
So be wary of this purchase unless there's a sweet warranty that I'm totally overlooking. Then again, I'm overseas and it'd be a pain to send these back to US manufacturers for a replacement. -
"Big Bass Sound....Very Smooth"
on by iceman42pgPros -Fits snug in the ear
-suprisingly cancels out the noise
-and most of all, great sound...sounds like an amplifyer in your earsCons -I wish there were more spare earbuds... I'm a boyscout, always prepared
Summary Most big-bass headphones sound distorted at higher volumes, but this hearphone is consistant in its output. The sound is complimented with equalized ptich and tone providing contrast for the bass. I'm an all Sony guy, but VModa sold me !

"The best pair of affordable headphones on the market"
on by flashfodePros Excellent sound quality, good looks, heavy bass, comfortable ear tips
Cons fragile, somewhat flimsly cord
Summary These are a pair of unique quality headphones. V-Moda has put a lot of thought into these earphones.
I have gotten these for 19.99 at JR music and audio, and they feel like the original 49.99! The overall appearance and science of these phones are a great steal.
The appearance of these headphones are good, as well as the fit, not only because I have upgraded from apple's cheesy audio devices they call headphones, but because they deliver a nice, snug, comfortable fit in the ear. You get the choice to choose between small, medium, and large size silicone eartips.
The sound quality of these are stellar, considering that they are only 49.99, and even if they were 99.99! It delivers a clear, bass-driven sound, without drowning out the treble, particularly on Hip-Hop and Rock playlists. I have owned these for two weeks now, and I am still having no problem with the sound of these earphones.
However, the construction of these are not the best, as I was just pulling them out of the plastic shell and a small portion of the cord cover came off! I wasn't impressed. Also, the cord is prone to tangling, which is not really and issue, as it does only occasionally. they are small, and skinny, though, not suitable of you damage you headphones a lot.
But with those two complaints set aside, these are the best, bassy pair of quality earphones that you can buy, hands down. I reccomend these to any bass junky.
They are great!
Thank you so much for reading my first review, I appreciate it! God Bless.

"They sound amazing, but not very durable"
on by RedtheghostPros They sound amazing. If you're into music with a lot of bass, like metal or techno, then you'll love these. The bass doesn't overpower the rest of the music, though, so you won't have to worry about not being able to listen to other types of music.
Cons The wires are quite thin, especially near the buds themselves. Take care not to bend the wires or let them get tangled. One of the ears went out for me later in the year, although it was mostly my own fault.
Summary As far as sound goes, these little things are great, and they come in multiple colors for those who care about fashion. I recommend the purchase, as long as you are one who takes care of your electronics. Just keep them in the included case, as they don't wrap around the neck.

"Delighted with value. Far exceeded my expectations."
on by Spiceman46Pros Pumping, crisp bass sound. Not dull and throbby but punchy and bold. The way in which the earbuds fit in the ear canal also double as noise cancelling. With my audio player turned off I have trouble hearing surrounding noises
Cons If you have an I-pod I recommend changing the equalizer to 'rock' setting. Mine was on 'R&B' setting and it proved to be too much bass.
Summary I am completely blown away by the great sound these little buds generate. And the price was amazing for the great sound these produce. I like bass, not overpowering levels, but these earphones give kick and have given a new meaning to my I-Pod. I never knew realized the great sound that was possible with these great earphones.
I have thrown away the annoying little white earbuds which come stock with the I-Pod that do not fit and produce crappy sound.
