Pros Good, if bassy sound, relatively inexpensive, comfortable
Cons Wire is crap. One channel cuts out after 4 weeks of very careful use.
Summary Sound was much better than my Creative's standard earbuds, but with slightly too much bass to say great sound. Adjustable (three sizes) in-ear fit makes them comfortable. The in-ear fit also made them better at staying-put and better at eliminating ambient noise.
Unfortunately, the micro-thin wire broke inside near the plug so one channel cuts out. This happened after about a month of use even though I am VERY careful and NEVER pulled the cord to unplug it. (I am actually paranoid about pulling cords after having replace a laptop power adapter a few years ago.)
So now I need to send them and wait for a replacement.
Anyway, the cable strength/quality is UNACCEPTABLE. If you buy these anyway, make sure you have backup earbuds to use when you send these back for replacement.
Pros Nice sound, cool colors, nice fit in ears with adjustable size pieces, phenomenal noise isolation for a headphone set of this price
Cons Left earbud stopped working after less than 3 months, was followed soon after by right earbud
Summary These earbuds could be an incredible value. They could be everything the CNET's review says they are. Unfortunately, they lack the quality necessary to even withstand everyday use. I was a high school student during the time that I had these earbuds. I thought they were great. They had as good sound quality as any headphones I had ever tried and they had a surprisingly high level of noise isolation. Unfortunately, less than three months after receiving the earbuds, the left one stopped working. Soon after, the right one stopped working. I cannot recommend a product in which traditional usage results in the product breaking.
Pros Outstanding Sound quality
Cons Bad choice of color
Summary Note that these earphones are the same as those that comes with the Sandisk Sansa E130/E140 player (except that Sandisk put their name on it). I have been using these for 6 months, now the left ear is damaged. They block noise quite efficiently. The bass is amazing (better than most $100+ 2.1 speakers), and the treble sound clear and not over-loaded. Some similar earphones got mids too high and not enough treble, which sounds horible.
Apart from the color, I think these are excellent earphones for any type of activity.
Pros fit, price, sound for $
Cons quality, quality, quality...oh, quality
Summary Since Christmas 2006 (6 months ago), have returned 3 pairs -- all have suffered from poor quality. All sounded great at first, then would go bad (sound would barely be heard) on one side. In the game of life, 3 tries is more than generous - they just are not robust. By the way, if you want to roll the dice and get a pair, they come in a variety of colors!
