"Great for the price"on by dirkab
Pros Price and driving bass
Cons Muddy sound and can make outside ear sore
Summary Everybody should own a pair of these headphones for working out or doing anything active that might damage your earphones. These are so inexpensive that you wouldn't be crushed if they got crushed.
Sound quality leaves something to be desired, but if your MP3 has and EQ you can make it more than livable. The bass is overpowering if you don't have an EQ, they can sound pretty muttled if left on default sound settings. Better than anything Sony or Koss has, especially considering the price.

Pros Excellent bass good tonal balance
Cons Poor quality
Summary I have returned three pair of these headphones, the first time the sound stopped out of the right earpiece, the second time the earpiece came appart and the third time the left channel was intermittent. The longest time between problems was 3 months. The phones are not abused in any way. To their credit V-moda has replaced each pair no questions asked. Unfortunately the poor quality outweighs the positive sound for me. Save yourself some frustration and step up Shure, Bose or Etymotic.
Pros Great Bass, Good Highs, and Mids
Cons Not Very Durable.
Summary These are the best headphones, that i found in the $50 - $100 price range. I've had headphones from Fry's Electronics, BestBuy, Circuit City, Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, Guitar Center and alot of other places that I cant remember. I've had all brands, from Bose to JVC (best to worst). When i saw these on Cnet's editor's choice I had to get them. They were soo good with sound isolation, and bass. The only thing they need is crisp highs, mids, and a very durable cord; especially around the driver. That was the only thing that messed up my headphones. I guess you can't keep it in your pocket for long perions of time. Other than that, these headphones are the Shure E4's of the $0-$100 price range. Kudos V-Moda! Kudos!
Pros AMAZING bass and clarity. House, electro, hip/hop, rock fans will be very pleased with these.
Cons As mentioned in the CNET review, the cable that comes with the V-Moda's IS rather flimsy.
Summary Amazing earbuds for the price. Only drawback is the cable. I had two sets replaced under warranty due to the internal cable fraying and losing sound to one of the buds. That having been said, V-Moda was VERY responsive to my problem and promptly sent me replacement sets both times when the current ones failed. All in all, a great set of headphones, especially for outdoor activities or working out with (you don't wanna beat up your shure e530's in the gym now do you?).
Pros Great sound
Cons They need some subdued colors
Summary I was very worried about ears buds that had such a high editors rating " 8 " with such a low price, under $50. I bought two we were surprised at the great sound. Anyone down grading these ear buds is just upset at the extra $200 each they spent and I saved. Great call on these ear buds CNET. Thanks.
