"great sound quality but bad durability"
Pros: great sound quality and great for bass heavy music
Cons: not durable and a little bass heavy
Summary: while they lasted the quality was awsome. music was just... better with them. they were great at canceling noise also. after 3 months they stopped working for no reason though. i think it had something to to with the base of the cable because when i put it in my pocket a lot. i don't regret buying them considering they were only 50 dollars but i was mad that they didn't last very long

Mine lasted about 8 months than one earbud went out on me. I'm guessing this is common enough. I think where the thin wire reaches the earbud is the problem. Just too sensitive. They were great however whe they lasted and for 20 bucks which is now the price I'll probably get another pair. You won't find a better in earbud for that price than these.

Totally agree! I'm on my 4th pair in about a year and a half. I take good care of my headphones as well and haven't had a durability issue like this before with any other headphones. Same spot where they crapped out, where the wire goes into the plug. I carry my player in my pocket as well but they still should last a lot longer. 7/10.

i also give them a 7 in rating. Great sound (8.0 seems to fit, but cnet cannot be accurate about a product's durability) for the price, bad durability. they stopped working 3-4 months after i bought them. Im sure it has something to do with the very thin cable. I will try to return them since they have a 1 year warranty. These are very fragile earbuds which must be taken cared off very cautiously. Other than that, if you own the regular ipod headphones and switch to this ones, you cannot go back.
