"Very pleased for the price"
Pros: Great look, Solid build and feel, Comfy in my ear, Sweet highs, Deep bass, GREAT VALUE!
Cons: Highs are a little bright, Not as smooth as two or three-driver buds
Summary: Decided on purchasing these after reading reviews and am not disappointed in the least!
I was looking to buy a pair of UM2s, but when I read a review elsewhere online saying they liked these better than their Westone UM2s (at 1/3rd the price), I had to give them a try.
Personally I think the Shure e5s I used to own were smoother in sound, but they were also a dual-driver system. These are single-driver. Single can't really compare to dual-driver, but these are NOT that far off!!!
These also fit very well in my ears! I stick the gel tips in my ear canal and then the opposite end of the bud rests confortably against the cartiledge in the back of my ear keeping it pretty well sealed in place so I can work out and they stay put! And they block out sound fairly well that way. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being complete isolation from outside noises, these are probably a 7. Good enough that you don't have to crank the music to enjoy your tunes "noise" free.
Save some cash and buy these. Nothing else compares at this price-point, in my opinion.
