"Good overall earphones"4.0 starson by dmac03
Pros: Good fit, solid bass, good overall sound
Cons: Not a perfect headphone but better than the competitors
Summary: I tried out the UE superfi.3 and shure e2's for awhile but returned them (keep in mind they weren't totally broken in). But my vibes had much more presence. These earphones support a much larger soundstage compared to similar models. But depending on who you ask, not necessarily as natural of a sound.
The bass is deep and solid, and the highs and mids are nowhere lacking. However, vocals may be to shrill for some. Also, heavy guitar present in some rock music isn't reproduced perfectly, but I have yet to hear an in-ear headphone of this price to perform any better. They aren't as refreshing to listen to as my Grado's...but its hard to compare those two different types of headphones.
The overall sound is very fun and the look of these earphones is very appealing. I would highly recommend for a sub-$100 set of in-ear headphones. But if you are ONLY looking for sound quality, then you might want to turn your attention to over-the-ear styles.
