"Top Notch single balanced armature canal monitors." on by bloren12
Pros: Balanced sound, surprising base is present with a good seal. A lot of options for inserts and I can't imagine someone can't find the right fit given the plethora of inserts in the package. Very comfortable fitting and very easy to drive.
Cons: The cord could use a wire for forming around the ear. Early evaluation is not as impressive with harder rock on the lower end sounding a bit bland.
Summary: Not sure how this IEM got such a so-so review by CNET. I've had a number of IEM's although mostly cheaper models. Given how good these isolate sound and how they sound I can only imagine what the Westone 2's or 3's sound like. WIth my price point and the discount I got (12%) off the $139 price, I am extremely pleased with the quality of sound. Due to the accuracy, I'm re-importing a lot of my CD's to a higher bitrate. If you are looking for a solid sounding, comforatble IEM, these are the bomb. I listen to a lot of acoustic music with vocals and these don't disappont. John Mayer, The Eagles, Natalie Merchant, never sounded better. With harder rock, not as impressive, but I expect once they get broken in, the music with stronger base will get better. If it does, then I cannot imagine a better purchase.

"Who reviewed these?" on by skategeezer
Pros: These are the better sounding earphones in this price range.
Made in the USA.Cons: The included foam plugs do not provide as good a seal as the hard plastic ones.
Summary: Really, I am not sure who reviewed these but these are one the top quality products in this price range. Period.
