"Not compatible with BT 1.1 phones"
Pros: Great sound and noise cancellation (once you get the right fit/earbud combo), small size, long batt life.
Cons: Only 100% compatible with BlueTooth v1.3 phones. This escaped the dealer I bought it from. After 3 calls to tech support someone was able to tell me that it just wouldn't work with my Motorola w385. Buyer Beware--this may not work with your phone.
Summary: I liked the unit. Fit is the primary hassle, it has to be snug in your ear (Jabra Minigels help) and its button has to contact your upper cheek to enable the voice pickup. What people don't tell you is that it's NOT compatible with a lot of phones. It only works with BlueTooth v1.3 models and has no backward compatibility. My local tech folks at my cell provider store didn't understand this and the first two techs I called at Jawbone didn't understand this. Luckily on my third tech call to Jawbone, a tech named Nick found the compatibility issue and I returned the useless Jawbone. Incompatibility---I could not answer an incoming call, instead the Jawbone would just hang up on them. The other functions were perfect, but that's a fatal flaw. My phone is a new 2008 Motorola w385---just three months old.
