"Here's a Trick To Make Jawbone Fit & Stay In Your Ear Better!"
Pros: Noise cancellation works great!
Cons: Bulky and hard to make stationary on your ear - until now!
Summary: Ok, for those of you that have the Jawbone or are looking to purchase it, let?s face it ? it?s the best on the market period! The noise cancelling it can do is simply phenomenal! I know since I have had them all from Jabra, Motorolla, Plantronics, etc. We have all been there, if you are in your car, airport, or outside the background noise makes it very difficult for the other person to hear you. If you want to solve that, get the Jawbone!
Now for the problem. The biggest complaint is that it is hard to get the Jawbone to stay in your ear, get on your ear, or feel comfortable in your ear.
Now for the fix. Buy some spare Jabra EarGels from the Jabra website under "Accessories" at $7 for a packet of 6! Jabra EarGels are designed to channel sound directly into the ear for perfect reception, so conversations sound clear and natural at both ends of the call. They are made of a translucent soft material shaped to sit snugly in your ear for a comfortable and secure fit. Jabra EarGels are hygienic and washable and come six in a pack - three sizes for left and right ears.
**The Jabra EarGels are molded to fit an ear perfectly and they will fit over the current round rubber earbud from Jawbone! That?s right, keep the round black rubber earbud from Jawbone on the earpiece and then slide the Jabra EarGel over it. Both earbud and EarGel fit snug together and the holes line up perfect! Now you can take off the metal Jawbone earloop. Now place it in your ear. Ah ha, notice it stays solid in your ear and the sound is louder for you to hear. Also with a more secure fit, the Jawbone?s voice activation sensor stays snug against your cheek. You can now even take off the Jawbone's tricky earloop since the Jabra EarGel makes the Jawbone stay put in your ear. Without having to use the earloop, you can take the Jawbone on and off your ear fast.
I hope this has helped everyone.

The jabra softgels worked PERFECT for me! the stupid loop thing around the ear didnt work for squat. plus the interchangeable earphones that came with it didnt work well either. ENTER JABRA EARGELS...I order them froma website called "Yes of Course" for something like 10 bucks. SINCE I HAVE SMALL EARS, I took the earphones that came with the jawbone and placed the softgel (size medium-the blue color) directly onto the jawbone and voila!!! the sound goes directly into your ear canal....GREAT INVENTION! FYI.....if u place the softgel OVER the earphone piece, the jawbone might protrude out a little bit farther from your ear and the jawbone sensor wont be touching your jaw, which is something u dont want. Hence that is why i only use the jabra softgel and nothing else.

I debated whether spending the $11.00 (that includes shipping and handling) to get the Jabra eargels because of other reviewers' statements that this solution did not work but finally "bit the bullet". I got the eargels yesterday and they work like a charm. I am able to place the medium sized Jabra eargels over the rouind Jawbone earplug and it fits snug and secure. The Jawbone now lines firmly against my jaw like it is suppose to. The quality of the sound is excellent. I can also pull off the Jawbone earplugs and place the Jabra plugs directly on the stem but it felt a tad loose so I stayed with first option. Thanks for the tip!

I purchased the eargels but found that the jawbone would not stay put in the eargel with any combination that I tried. I am very active around water and don't want to lose anoter excellent headset. I went to the local ACE Hardware store to the plumbing department. In the "O" ring box you can find an O ring that will fit on the jawbone stalk and that the eargel will stay on. It appears that only those with medium or large ear canals will be able to use this method because the base of the small eargel just won't fit over the O ring and stay on.

You are correct. The concrete ear gel and the cumbersome ear clip, that come with the device are a disgrace. I continued to use my plantronics, although the Jawbone is superior. However, I purchased Jabra clear ear gels from Hello, on the internet, and I am delighted. Anyone who says they are not a perfect fit has not done so. I do not even need the ear clip, which I have always needed, even with the jABRA. Thank you again for your creditable recommendation.

Cheched out the Jabra website, wasn't the easiest site to nav. Found the accessorie attached to a bluetooth stereo headset and didn't seem site would let order from there. If anyone is interested go to hellodirect.com and will find the Eargels there at the price Noonan30's stated.
Thanks,
God bless. -
I use the jabra gels on my ipod headhones (the ones that come with it). They work great, I can work out and do any other activity and they stay in place. glad to use them for other applications too.

The tip works great! However, in my case, I had to remove the current round rubber earbud. It fit in my ear much more comfortable with the round rubber removed.
Also, I bought my earbuds from eBay. Simply search for "Jabra EarGels". The C120s C100 C150 Ear Boom Bud fits nicely. If you buy them from the Jabra website, you'll have to pay $13 for shipping.
