"The Best So Far"
on by ikoikoPros Aesthetics, functionality, sound quality for speaker and listener, fit and finish
Cons Price, Aliph customer service, function buttons
Summary I love this product. It's easily the best bluetooth headset I've ever owned. It replaced my Blue Ant Z9. It fits my ear better, is solidly built, serves up great sound quality and volume. The function buttons (i.e.) take some getting use to. However, use them a few times and it's relatively easy to get the hang of them. I cannot comment on battery life but expect it to be decent, based upon other reviews read elsewhere.
The one problem I raise is customer service. My experience (related to order confirmation price and shipment invoice price being different) found that they care little for the customer. My situation was poorly handled by them. Caveat Emptor. Buyer beware. Best to buy from a retailer that honors their price quotation. -
"Very Disappointing"
on by BoeLockPros Light Weight and Small
Cons Buttons too hard to access or too sensitive
Summary Tried this one for a week and it goes back.
I wore it without the ear loop and it fit in the ear very well. To initiate a voice dial call, you have to trigger the button on the rear. Worn without the earloop it is hard to reach without dislodging the headset. Once the call was initiated, reaching up to adjust the headset, tended to regularly hang up the call. The call initiate/terminate button flexes the center of the headset and so does trying to adjust the thing. Volume control was hard to adjust while wearing this one. For the price, there has to be something better out there.
Audio quality for the person I was talking with wasn't all that great. At times, I couldn't get the headset volume up high enough in a noisy environment. -
"Dissapointed after all the Hype"
on by zuhlsterPros Small, Light,
Cons Poor sound quality, hyper sensitive buttons
Summary I found the sound to be of very poor quality. It sounds as though the people you are speaking to is pinching their nose AND talking through a tin can.
Further because the "ear buds" are all round, and do not enter the ear canal at all, you may need to adjust positioning on your ear from time to time. This is fine if you are not in the middle of a call. Even when I gingerly grab the side of the earpiece, it still manages to hit the "hangup/answer" button. I hung up on so many people this way.
In the end I returned the Jawbone 2 and got my money back.
