"Best headset I have ever tried!"5.0 starson by Weekend_Jockey
Pros: Great style, simple ,Call Quality is nice and clean in the car, Easy to use 1 simple button with many very helpful voice controls, Caller ID is helpful for key calls
Cons: Have to be careful and not leave your noise reduction settings on Max for normal calls.
Summary: A co-worker bought on of these and was raving about it and said I should seriously consider upgrading to it. Tough not a Sprint customer I ended up picking one up there. I had a Jawbone (the grey one) and the Q1 does makes it seem like an old obsolete PC with Windows 95 on it. The audio prompts and voice commands make it easy to do so many different things such as returning calls, connecting to the phone, getting a battery level, answering a call . I have not used them all but the ones I do use I find myself very appreciative of having them there. The commands have generally been very reliable although perodically it does make a mistake. It is simple to cancel mistakes to nothing bad can really happen if it does.
The handsfree answer or ignoring of a call by voice is nice. I had previously made a number of mistakes pushing the wrong button and would hangup on a call I wished to answer or vice versa.
Call quality in the car has been excellent. They have 2 settings a standard and max. On Max I have heard some comments that my voice sound filtered. However I think it is only meant for outdoor noisy situations. You do have to make sure you don't leave it on this setting. You may make 1 call in a very noisy situation and put it on max, then the next call even if you are in a quiet room it will still use that setting for noisy environments. You have to click to get it back to standard.
All in all seems a significant improvement in headsets and worthy of everyone checking it out.
