"The best one between the SoundID 400 and the Icon."4.5 starson by coopdavillage
Pros: Voice commands work well. Programmable speed dials within the headset. volume rocker. excellent sound quality. very very comfortable compared to others. Decent talk and standby time. Looks nice and professional. Easy to use.
Cons: Special connector for charging and connecting (not micro usb like most others). Updater software gave us some issues on the first round but worked on the second set with a USB 1.0 connection. People have to call you to set the in device speed dial.
Summary: The best one we have tried so far (tried Icon and SoundID 400). The first ones we tried gave us problems with the updater, my wife could not install it on her computer (Windows XP) and mine would be updating and die halfway through rendering the headset useless. The second set however we used and older laptop with at USB 1.0 port and it worked perfectly! This is the most comfortable one we have tried yet. it only has 2 earbuds but they are very soft and the speaker is small and actually fits in the ear. The sound quality is clear and the noise cancelation is very good, maybe not quite as good as the Icon but right under it with more options. There are a ton of voice commands and controls to use that are very useful and you can actually use the headset hands free unlike the other 2. The headset looks very nice and professional not like a toy sticking in your ear. The manual controls are very easy to access and use. The charger connection is and odd one compared to the other 2 (which were micro USB) so there is currently no IGo tip available for it. You can listen to music through it as well as turn by turn directions with the phones GPS functions. I would recommend this headset over the others any day.
