"Great product"on by roniet14
Pros Compatible with my Samsung Captivate.
Cons The plastic hook doesn't really stay on my ear that well and gets caught in my hair.
Summary This is a great product. It's simple to use and tells me who is calling and gives me the option to respond to answering or ignoring incoming calls.
Pros Dual phone support
Cons Drops connectivity easily
Interrupts music playing unnecessarily
Too obtrusive in telephony process
Summary This has to be one of the most poorly crafted headsets I've tried. From the functionality of the unit to the lack of documentation this puppy sucks. To start with, it beeps for apparently no reason when it is not actually being used, so if you want to keep it in your ear, be prepared for random unknown beeps. Why are they random and unknown? Because the documentation doesn't mention what it is supposed to mean (and no its not for low battery as it happens when fully charged).
Other than that, if the phone is on the same side of your body as the headset, it will stay connected, but put it in your pocket on the other side and it will lose connection. It has the ability to pair with 2 phones at the same time (nice) however, if you move too far away from either of them (call it 20' (not even the 30' for BT) it will announce that it has dropped. And if you are just on the edge of connectivity it will constantly announce that it lost/gained connection. What's even worse is that if you are listening to music, it stutters the sound while it drops/gains connection (it should send a pause and play to the music device, but I guess they didn't think of that).
But I guess the most annoying thing is that you have to tell it to let you give voice commands to your phone, and then it takes even more time to tell you that it is transferring you to your phone for voice control. Talk about a massive waste of time, especially if you are just trying to play/pause the music or just change track.
While it does work, I'd recommend finding a different one and keep the level of insanity in your life down.
Pros Call quality is fantastic.
Cons Doesn't announce names clearly, doesn't read texts as well as it should.
Pros Voice quality is decent. Noise and wind control is pretty good too.
Cons Almost impossible to reset. And there is zero customer service from manufacturer. Constant messages from the unit that "the pair list is full" .. resetting per instructions does not work. Also ear piece fittings are not snug.
Summary Life's too short for this kind of frustration. Today I threw it away in the garbage where it belongs. I have ordered a replacement from via Amazon for a Jawbone. It's on sale. I'll be happier.
"THE BEST YET"on by adjusterron
Pros Light, loud & comfortable.
Cons None, absolutely none!
Summary Since having gone through 2 of the Jabra BT250's and no longer being available, I've gone through just about every brand & type out there, including the Jawbones. I received the BlueAnt T1 for Christmas & all I can say is WOW!
I don't like loops on my ears & this bad boy goes into my ear & stays there with just the bud. All I can say is this, don't bother looking at anything else. The pairing, call qualtiy & quality of the unit itself are awesome! Maybe the people here that say volume is low need to get a hearing aid!
