"Best blue tooth head set" on by solace412

Pros: Light weight, great sound quality on both ends. Many multiple functions that other headsets don't have - conferences call, ignore etc. Optional charging via USB or wall unit

Cons: The clip could be a little more tighter, I have to clip it to my jean pocket instead of my shirt since its to thin

Summary: Over all this a great product, I see others complaining about theirs how they sound far away or muffled. I didn't have that problem at all when I used it my friend said I sounded to close and pointed the headset away a bit and sounded fine. Also I did some investigating on others who have the same headset and found that most of them went on ebay or amazon. Sad to say but some of them were knock offs, just make sure that when you buy one that the seller is an authorized blue ant dealer...

"Great at first the bunks out fast.." on by bigshotwill

Pros: Great when new, is very clear looks nice. light wt. sometimes dont even know its thier. voice isolation is excellent.

Cons: after 3 months rubber ear bud cracked and fell off. No where to buy ear bud, website and stores dont sell ear buds. Now echos and Voice isolation very poor, people I talk too say sounds like im under water.

Summary: Dont know if earbud has anything to do with the voice isolation, but seems after it tore it just didnt work right. I was happy when I first bought it but the quality just doesnt seem that good after 3 months and without being able to purchase new ear buds I'll never know. Just bought the new jawbone let you know in 3 months how it compares.

"Excellent headset- delivers as promised." on by thebabydoc

Pros: small, lightweight, excellent sound quality, easy to use controls. WORKS

Cons: voice recognition could use a little tweaking, bothers ear after long-term use (varies)

Summary: I bought this on fleabay using my $20 paypal coupon so it cost me like $25. Can't go wrong starting out of the gate.

I had the Plantronics 650 then the 655 for years and they are absolutely the best available, only problems were the eargels snapping and rotating all around. Sound quality was excellent and comfort level was 100%.

The BlueAnt Z9i is even better if that was possible. The noise-cancellation works in the worst environments, the thing weighs like 10grams and is incredibly inconspicuous, and everyone comments that the sound quality they are hearing has been improved.

The only bad that I have noticed is (EXACTLY as cnet noted) is that the combo of earhook and earbud seems to create a small amount of pressure on certain parts of the ear, causing some pain after extended use. I have never been a fan of the earhook as it not only makes it more cumbersome to put on quickly (if you don't want to be a "bluetool" and walk around all day with your headset on) but it also makes it much more difficult to keep in your pocket. This thing would be a 5+ star product if they could incorporate the Plantronics ear gels- I think I'm going to try to rig it up myself.

As it is, still one of the very best out there. Editor's choice- right on target.

"You've Got to be Kidding me RIGHT?!?!?!?!" on by Carrington08

Pros: Fashionable Design, Easy to Pair, Sleek

Cons: BROKE within a couple months and couldn't be fixed and out of warranty with the store purchased from and Blue Ant C/S was not helpful AT ALL

Summary: Ear piece hook came out the little hole and would NOT go back in. The one time Radio Shack tried and successfully got it back in, it popped back out. I don't have the kind of ear that will hold a headset without a hook on it. I was out of exchange time with RS and the CS people with Blue Ant were NO HELP. So I have a $70 piece of C&^P. Ahhh, such is life, I suppose. And before this I had to exchange it because the first one wouldn't fit the plug to charge it. CURSED
