"Overpriced and underwhelming..." on by IAMone19
Pros: Decent sound reproduction, build quality
Cons: Egregiously overpriced for what you get...
Summary: have to agree with other user reviews here... I own several Bose products and while most are good, they're never great -- certainly not high-end. Their headphones in particular are overpriced for the sound experience they deliver. Spend the same money and get truly great headphones by investigating Grados, Denon, Beyer-Dynamic, and Sennheiser. Bose is great at marketing to consumers who think they're getting high-end gear... but it's just not usually true.

"Not worth the price" on by jscott418
Pros: None I can think of
Cons: Over priced for the sound and quality.
Summary: Save yourself from bying these headphones. Buy a decent pair from Sennheiser or a pair of Grado's. I have bought Bose in the past a pair of Airport's over ear headphones. Nice enough for midrange but treble was weak and bass was muddy. Much like the Beats are from Dr. Dre. Unless you like your music emphasised for bass.
I for one prefer a more flat response and Bose is far from this. I think for noise reduction technology they make a decent pair of headphones that work well for noise reduction. But again your going to pay a premium and their are almost as good alternatives for half the price. Don't get me wrong, I am not a Bose hater. I have owned a few Bose products but all of them fall short of what they should be. I tend to buy Bose products at their outlet's because even at those prices Bose is not cheap. If your determined to buy Bose seek out a deal or else go buy something else. -
"The only things is worst is the Dre line..." on by Csipa1
Pros: Decent sount reproduction
Cons: Crazy overpriced, the only thing beats it is Dre's line of BS
Summary: Horribly over priced and over rated products. If you have money to waste, than Bose is for you.

"These things are crazy." on by Thugman1995
Pros: I do like the bass, even though it's not great.
Cons: Way over priced for what they do, you can buy any cheaper headphones to get what you supposed to get out of the bose. I have the most expensive ones and barely use them, they are crappy. The first pair tore up had to send back. horrible.
Summary: If you just want some earphones for a known name, the I guess you can try it, but I am sure the're a lot others out there and you'd have to have a couple more different pair of earphones to choose from, with the ones I have, I have to change the battery seems every hour and the suction or what ever it is, is stupid, you have to be very still to listen to the earphone, if you don't, they will sound worse than they already sound. It's just a name you are paying for.
