Nice Headphones
Pros: Decent sound & easy setup.
Cons: "bouetooth sound" & headband
It's true, the sound quality isn't the BEST and the headband may not work for everyone. But these headphones work well and have a reasonable range for milling about around your computer or watching movies. I have also noted that the "bluetooth sound" can be heard in moments of silence, which may be a tad prohibitive for some media types, but it's really not audible if you're listening at a good volume.
Overall, very nice.

Headphones good, microphone unacceptable
Pros: The headphones sound good.
Cons: Microphone is so bad, people can't understand you.
Bottom line, the microphone transmission quality killed it.
The headphones on this unit were fairly good in quality. You lose some audio quality with the bluetooth layer. But the low frequencies on the speakers made it superior to my good Sony earbuds. I could hear ambient noise well, which is important while driving, or talking to a colleague at work. They also weren't too heavy (a concern with the battery), and they fit my head well. They were not adjustable, which could be an issue for some.
Unfortunately, the microphone was almost unintelligable on the other end. Voice was monitone and sounded like it was muddy and underwater. It would occassionally click out, which made me sound jerky. I tried replacing the microphone with one I knew was good quality. It helped a little, but not nearly enough. There was also a slight delay, maybe a 1/4 - 1/2 second.
Last gripe was that the usb power cord was less than 2' long. If you are buying these for the headphones, and your PC is under your desk, you may need to get a usb extension cable. FYI, the usb power cord plugs into the usb jack in the power outlet stub, like an ipod.
To leave this on a positive note, I liked the controls on the earphone. Listening to phone calls in stereo is pretty neat. And IOGear's 24/7 support answered my call within 2 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. The Tech was as helpful as she could be, and had good English. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything she could do.
