Summary: I have finally found a bluetooth headset that i can use. This is my third, and because of my ear I have problems with other headsets. They are usually too loose because the ear hook is skinny.
Not this one! I can bend it just right so that it actually stays still, right in place, exactly how i want it. If it starts to get a little irritating, its simple to readjust the location and/or the fit.
The sound is fine, no echo and no one knows I'm on a bluetooth when I'm talking on it.
The volume controls are not "ideal" but certainly manageable.
And its inexpensive. More comfort, easy to use, and not a pocket breaker.
Give it a try. Its cheap enough that if you don't like it, you won't be kicking yourself for buying it.-

Pros: loud enough inside or out in public places, no static
Cons: small rocker for volume, you can't feel it with your finger
Summary: I'm using the jabra 125 with a Treo 650.
Its load enough to hear in noisey public places or in private. I haven't had any static or range problems.
I had a Motorola 700, which was just the worst piece of junk.-

Pros: Sound, Comfort, Looks, Reliability
Cons: Minor (one color choice, can't use my phone's charger)
Summary: This is the best basic Bluetooth headset on the market. There are others with better features and more style, but for an on/in the ear model with a single multifunction button, this is as good as it gets.
The BT125 works has the same basic functionality as dozens of competing models. You get one multifunction button and a volume rocker. (I find the rocker usable by feel, but I will admit it is hard to tell whether you are going up or down in the first few clicks). It turns on or pairs by holding the button for a long time. It has a flexible ear hook and sits on, more than in, the opening of your ear canal. But it gets as much as you possibly can from this arrangement.
1) The "flexible ear hook" is truly flexible (beats Motorola) and yet is contoured perfectly for anatomical comfort (beats Cardo).
2) The speaker sits lightly and comfortably on the outside of the ear and is much more comfortable than the Cardo Scala 600 I had used previously. There is only a smooth surface, no scratches from the recharger port.
3) The multifunction button is recessed and yet easy to find. My Motorola H500 cannot be carried in a bag or pocket because the button sticks out!
4) The sound is good at BOTH ends of the conversation! (The only exception is that adjusting the volume during causes a lot of noise and distraction on your listener's end.) The noise cancellation works as well as any I've tried, and the directional microphone works a LOT better than any omni directional setup of my H500.
4) Volume range is great as is battery life and charging time. The speaker gets loud enough to be heard over heavy equipment, although it also distorts at that level. I can set it on about 1/3 loudness and it is perfectly usable under normal conditions with excellent tone quality.
5) This unit is designed to be functional, but I kind of like the style, especially the white underside that came with my unit (different than what you see in the pictures at this site). The black and white theme, size, and teardrop shape have sort of a Star Wars Ep. IV nastalgia, (or maybe it's the cyborg ear computer on the bald guy from Blade Runner (sorry I couldn't get a more specific with that reference)).
I wish Jabra used the same USB-type chargers that Motorola uses, but other than that, this unit causes me NO PAIN in my day to day life. And that is saying alot for a Bluetooth headset!-

Pros: sounds is clear and loud enough, comfortable and lightweight.
Cons: Volume adjusting for every call.
Summary: this is my second bluetooth headset and it is far and away the best of the two.
the Jabra BT125 has great sound quality. it is clearer and just as loud as my other headset which is the in-ear variety from samsung.
The Jabra's standby time is enormous at 170 hours and the talk time is twice what my samsung's is at 8 hours.
the range is what is most impressive about this headset. 33 feet is more than you will ever need but it actually does go out that far unlike most headsets. the static doesnt start until about 12 feet which is very nice.
it only weighs half an ounce and has an adjustable ear hook, which makes it very comfortable to wear for extended periods.
i dont like that i have to adjust the volume for every single call since it resets after you hang up. i would prefer to set it once and be done with it.
overall i am extremely satisfied with this headset. it has everything i needs and performs beautifully with only a minor inconvenience as a negative. At $30 this is a great value and a solid choice at any price range.-

Pros: Light, Adjustable, and Reliable
Cons: Volume button is barely usable
Summary: My BT125 is paired with my Nokia 6133 much to my pleasure. This has been my first experiance with a bluetooth set and at $30 I figured it wasnt a terrible risk. I have found that the set is very easy to use regardless of the volume rocker (simple solution is to adjust the set position).
I have only had to pair the set twice with the phone in the three months I have owned it (I think I reset the phone somehow). Even then the task was a breeze.
Comfort has not been an issue even though I wear the set roughly 3 hours a day. Voice calling is great and performed with eeze. most of my daily needs can be performed with one touch of the set.
In short, try it you'll like it.- Read reply (1)
