Pros: Outgoing sound is great. In a quiet room you don't have to talk loud with the BT 530 to be heard. Nice design. Comfortable and secure fit. Compact.
Cons: Noise reduction isn't the greatest, but it is a big improvement from the Jabra JX10 model. Volume on the incoming sound is the biggest con of the Jabra BT530.
Summary: I've had this headset for about two weeks now. My Sennheiser VMX 100 broke and the original bluetooth headset i was waiting for hadn't come out yet (Soundid HD300). From my browsing on bluetooth headset, the claims on the jabra headset made this headset seem like a good buy.
On/Off switch just broke for the 2nd time, so now I'm using a paper clip to turn it on and off. Main use for this one is for my computer for now. For around the same price range, I recommend getting a blueant z9i instead.
Paring with the headset to my Nokia N82 was no problem. Package came with two earhooks, and a total of about 6-7 eargels. So far this is the most comfortable headset I've used.
Noise Reduction: My expectation is that the other party is able to hear you clearly when there is noise. So here are some scenario's of what noise it's been clearly and un-clearly heard from. On the Hwy, some bluetooth do pick up noise even when the windows up. With the BT530, the person on the other end is able to hear you clearly with the windows up, according to her she hears "wind." But if you were driving with the windows down, the receiving person wouldn't be able to understand you at all. Bottom line is that the BT530 does well in moderate noise environments. In the parking lot with wind at about 10-15mph and cars, the receiving party is able to hear little wind and doesn't hear cars or a conversation that was happening right in front of me.
The thing I liked most about this headset is that you don't have to talk that loud to be heard. The thing that I didn't like is that when the person on the other end is soft spoken, I'm the one saying "I'm sorry what was that?" It's even worse when you're in a environment where there's a lot of noise, you wouldn't be able to hear your friend, even if your bluetooth and phone volume is loud to it's max.
Overall this headset is alright. It's not perfect, but it's something I can use before something better comes out. The BT530 does have it's good values, but it's not the bluetooth I'd recommend. Anyway if you're like me searching for a good bluetooth headset, I'd try purchasing the "Joby Zivio" and giving that a try.

Pros: Works well, could be a little bit louder.
Cons: Lost the earhook, which comes off very easily. I cannot find a replacement, even on the Jabra website. I don't get it. This should be easy to purchase ten cents worth of plastic for $9.99.
Summary: Will not buy another Jabra product if their is no support.

Pros: Easy to pair with Mobile Phone and NB PC. Works with Skype for Mobile using A2DP. Readily reconnect to PC after phone call. Mute function is easy to use
Cons: Battery can go dead when it show green light (80%+ charged) seconds ago. Volume too low in noisy environment, practically useless. Sound quality can be improve. Power on/off switch is difficult to use. Ear piece cause pain after a long call.
Summary: I havfe the unit for 1 month now. The initial setup is great. Easy to connect with my Mobile phone (Samsung) and PC. I have a few other BT headset before, this is the first one that readily reconnect to the mobile and use with skype mobile without reset. The on/off switch is not smooth. I'm afraid I'll broke it if I use it regularly.
I like the feature that it connect 2 devices. It's very easy to setup and use on both devices. It'll pickup the phone and reconnect after the call automatically.
Noise reduction works fine in normal environment. However when I'm driving, the first question far end ask is "Are you in a Car?" because of the sound quality and some strange noise. In noisy restauraut, it's practically useless. Far end cannot hear clearly and the volume is too low to hear the far end.
I use it regularly for long calls, although it's light, ear gel design make it very painful after long use.
The most painful part is the battery quality. The status indicator is great, simple push any button it will give you green, yellow or red indicating battery level. Unfortunately, I have 2 incidents when it give me a green light seconds ago and the unit went dead. It's a new unit, in both incidents, I know I have not use it for 5 hours as listed on the spec. May be 2~3 hours. So charge it regularly ... -

Pros: I like the noise cancellation. Overall, everyone I talk to can hear me well, and voice activated dialing with this unit is great.
Cons: On/off slide switch is flimsy & keeps breaking.
Summary: On/off slide switch is flimsy & keeps breaking. The store exchanged my first one shortly after I bought it, but now direct me to Jabra. Luckily, this last time it broke off, it was in the "on" postion. The bad part about that is, if I take it off of my ear and don't disconnect using the phone (whereas before I would just shut off), my phone rings and then I have to dig the bluetooth out of purse before my call goes into voice mail.
I tried to fill out the on-line warranty form, but I kept getting the message that I had to fill out all required information. I went back twice and looked at all of the boxes to see what I forgot and they were all filled in, so I have no clue what they wanted. So I went in search of a phone number to call. Jabra apparently is one of those companies that do not want to talk to customers (unless you are from Canada - I did find that number in a few places). They bury their phone number on their website. It took me 30-45 minutes to find it, and I'm not a novice on the web. I finally found it at almost 4pm Pacific time. Well, they close at 6pm Eastern. So it would seem that if I want to talk to them before I go to work, I'll have to get up at 5:00am. I get very irritated when companies take my money for their products and then make it extremely difficult to reach them when you need something.
Bottom line - good product if you don't mind the switch issue. I probably won't buy another one though, not if I can't contact the company for support. There's all kinds of competition out there. I'm sure that I could find something comparable from a different company. -

Pros: I have tried several headsets that couldn't connect to my iPhone. Jabra has got it right. Furthermore the balance between good sound and noise cancellation is the best I hav tried so far.
Cons: I would have loved it in a glossy piano black finish.
Summary: Best headset to the iPhone in the market today.
