"Good for the money"
Pros: Extremely comfortable, great call clarity
Cons: Look funny when you're wearing sunglasses
Summary: I picked these up the other day at BestBuy for $23. I just got a blackberry pearl so i needed a new headset to listen to the mp3 player. These were the only ones that weren't bluetooth (call me old school). I went out to the car and tried them and I thought for calls the clarity was great. The mic worked very well, and the person i called could hear everything. Another thing I like about it is that you get the call in both ears. Although this is illegal when you're driving, it's great when I'm working at home. It's a lot less distracting for me to have the conversation in both ears while the tv's on, etc.
They are surprisingly comfortable. I didn't think I'd like over-the-ears, but you barely notice they are on.
When listening to music they have been fine. Certainly not my bose headphones, but they are perfect for what they are intended for.
I wish the cord was a little heavier, just because when you take the headset out of the box it comes all coiled, and the cord retains a little bit of the kink. I also wish the cord from each ear met it a "Y" shape instead of a "U" shape, I just think those look kind of weird.
But for less than $25, I really can't complain. Perfect for my calls and listening to music on my half hour bus ride. The soft gels on the ear part are comfortable and come with 2 sizes. They also help with a little passive noise reduction.
Not thrilled, but not regretting the purchase.
