"Audio quality blew me away! Best I've heard." on by cdreemz17

Pros: Superior music and call quality. Super lightweight. Simple controls. 3 chargers. Ultra comfortable. Did I mention that it plays music?!

Cons: Hard to get a proper and comfortable fit at first. Fine now. No other cons at all!

Summary: I also have the Motorokr S305. It is an awesome stereo headset. I still use it for the gym. Great sound and call quality. Very light for a set or over the ear-phones. Jabra runs circles around this headset in the sound department although the S305 is no slouch. They both have nice volume on them but the S305 sounds a little distorted in the highs, even with the volume low. The Jabra is perfect at all frequencies. I can even hear and feel the bass coming from only one earbud. Amazing.

I've owned the Plantronics Voyager 855. That headset can't compare to the Jabra Extreme in any category. Although the Jabra is mono, it sounds better than the stereo output of the Voyager 855. Call quality is in another league as well.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the best bluetooth headset out there. No skipping, no dipping in call quality. Dedicated on/off switch, volume and call controls. All the accessories you need - 2 ear hooks, 3 ear gels, 3 chargers, cool retail presentation box. The packaging was what had me going. I thought, "Man, if thing thing sounds half as good as this box looks, I'm in business." The Jabra Extreme sounds 20x better than it looked. You will not be disappointed. Buy it. This is coming from a professional audio engineer.

"Very Good Bluetooth Headset!! Great Value!!" on by dmusicwrks

Pros: Great sound quality and features. I love the modern look and design. Dedicated on/off switch. Nice stand alone car charger that has no cords. Good battery life. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars by PC World in the Summer of 2010! Great value for the price!

Cons: The ear buds intially took some adjusting to get a comfortable fit. Buttons may be a little small (but I also have larger-than-average hands).

Summary: I use my Bluetooth's extensively for work and play. I normally buy the $60-$100 Bluetooth's with the protection plan with them so when there's a problem I can switch them out. So, over the years I've gone through many brands and types of Bluetooth's (Motorola's, Plantronics, Emerson, etc.,) and I've recently noticed that the only ones that have ever satisfied me were Jabra's! Although I've never tried the highly rated Jawbone or BlueAnt Bluetooth's. I had the option of buying the Jabra Extreme or the Jawbone Icon which was on sale @ a great price but I liked the design of the Jabra Extreme much better and I remembered my past satisfaction with the Jabra BT8040 so I obviously went with the Jabra Extreme and I am very satisfied.

"Quality diminished after about six months" on by IndyB

Pros: Small size. Great for listening to podcasts. Unpretentious design. A2DP and call volume is very good. Good fit.

Cons: Spotty connectivity even when close to phone. Sound quality worsened over time. My callers complained about difficulty hearing me.

Summary: Greatly enjoyed the product at first, but quality declined over time. Purchased BlueAnt T1 today. Paired it with same iPhone. Tested it with the same callers who remarked on great sound quality.

"Excellent for the Money" on by david4566

Pros: Very Good audio quality. I like the design of it as well, very modern.

    Cons: None so far

Summary: I came from a Plantronics 975 <which I lost :( >. For the money I think it beats it, I have a large ear opening so I dont have the comfort complaint like some people do.
