Pros Sleek Design
Good sound quality
Alternative usage (Corded or wireless)
Touch-sensitive Volume control for convenience
Cons Range of bluetooth is shorter than expected
May not fit everyone's heads
Touch control may get in the way if you're clumsy
Summary The pairing works great, the sound quality was good, but more to be expected because of its price tag. The Jabra Halo is more suited to smaller heads in my opinion. Thus, those with larger head sizes may not be suited for it. It's also very convenient as it is cordless, hassle-free. Thus, you do not need to funble about untangling the wires when you grab it out of your bag.
Lastly, research and think before you buy anything. Don't come buying something without checking its specs, then writing a review bashing the product. It does not fit everyone, and it might not fit you, while it may fit others.
Pros Comfortable & stays put, even when working out. Additional attachments (wired option, USB charger, carry pouch) are nice touches. Pairs simultaneously with iPod Touch & cell phone (Samsung Rogue), so I can carry both with no worry about missed cal
Cons When you first start using it, the Bluetooth connection seems choppy, as it needs to warm up. This is even if you are sitting with the iPod & cell phone are very close together. After the first 5 min it seems it passes, so just a minor inconvenience.
Summary Comfortable for longtime wear, doesn't break the bank, and pairs with iPod and cell phone. Oh I almost forgot! Thexmic is fine too! People on both cell phones and land lines hear me just fine. I don't typically make calls in wind tunnels, but from noisey stores no one complained! Of you are tired of in ear headsets try it - you can always take it back, but may be pleasantly surprised!
Pros wire free, includes a USB charge cable
Cons Required latest Bluetooth driver to achieve optimum sound quality. The official WIDCOMM drivers are only available to the latest Bluetooth hardware via the manufacture. Older hardware require the use of unofficial hacked drivers called ANYCOM.
Summary After downloading that driver my Bluetooth 2.0 card my Halo went from sounding like early internet audio to high fidelity audio.
The headset is great until it stops working. I used my Halo mostly when working out where I relied on the included headphone cord. Other times I'd use the wireless Bluetooth feature on my laptop when I'm at work on my lunchbreak.
But after a months use the Bluetooth function of the headset no longer works. It does not pair with my computer anymore. I am not exactly sure why. The headphone cord continues to work ok the Halo but defeats the purpose of the device being a Bluetooth headphone.
I don't know how much moisture might have played a factor in my Halo losing some of it's functionality as they easily get wet after working out with them, which causes the swede interior to peal away.
I don't feel so bad about it not working anymore as I won this headphone free through Jabra's Youtube free your dance contest.
Overall I give this headphone 2 out of 5 stars.
"Amazing headset"on by Vanack
Pros Very light and very comfortable, quite good quality of sound for such a small wireless headset, with bass.
Cons Cannot adjust the fitting, so for a few people the fit may not work. Volume control is strange, you like it or not.
Summary With a computer running OSX the headset worked like a charm, and worked great with Skype.
One annoyance is that the bluetooth headset binds in Mono mode by default (on OSX), so you have to disconnect and select manually Stereo. Quite an annoyance if you have to do it often.
Pros nice design - kinda like the B and O form 2 - the quality is pretty good - the pads are actually a velvet type material which is a million times better than the styro-foam on most headsets ... actually look like normal headsets compaired to other BT
Cons cant here anything on the phone , the volume controls are weird
Summary Really great BT headset for music - like the auto on when opened, small form factor - great sound, pair with my 3gs with out a problem - really good sound without any skipping , only bad things are the volume control (touch type buttons on the side of the R earpiece) and the poor phone quality - not deal breakers for me but may be for ithers
