Pros The sound and call quality is excellent. Battery life is outstanding and the accompanying Android app is a welcome addition to customize its use. The motion sensor worked flawlessly and pairing with nfc is a simple and convenient option.
Cons Sometimes disconnects from and reconnects to the phone for no apparent reason; voice commands aren't always understood: will reject call when you say "answer" in some settings. Design quality in some respects is not the best.
Summary The Jabra Motion is a great headset with outstanding features, but the design quality could be a lot better. I am a UPS Driver Service Provider and I had tried various bluetooth brands, including Blueant and Motorola. In my view, the Jabra Motion hands down was the best of them all in terms of fit, features, quality sound and calls, and battery life. Although the headset is much larger than most, its advertised features outweighed its girth in my view and so I was willing to give it a try. I did this especially after I saw the review right here on CNET. I purchased it on November 2013 and it is now March 2014. In late February of this year, the upper portion of the headset directly above the "+" of the volume slider totally became unglued, making it impossible to wear comfortably unless you have something like a beanie or earmuffs to hold it in place. This was probably due to exposure to sweat over the course of 9.5+ hour days in the outdoors. For $120.97 (including shipping and handling), I expected far better quality than this. I cannot exchange it through Amazon.com since the return period was up on January 13, 2014. So I am currently awaiting correspondence from Jabra concerning obtaining a replacement under warranty. I am willing to try it again just because the audio quality was so great, but I definitely will be more careful with my use of it in my line of work.
