Pros: Style, outgoing call quality

    Cons: Fit, incoming call quality

Summary: I just purchased my Jawbone 2 yesterday and I'm struggling with incoming call quality. It lacks bass range and sounds tinny. I appreciate the technology to make my voice more clear to people I'm speaking with, but equally as important to me to be able to hear what they are saying. Also, directions state the unit needs to touch my face to work properly, but I'm struggling to keep the sensor in contact with my cheek. I like the style, the ability to wear it without the ear loop and the fact that it is light weight. But, I expect more from a product that costs $129 (more than the cost of many phones!) and don't believe I've received value for the price. I'm giving it another week or so but anticipate I'll be taking it back and trying a different product with better incoming sound quality.

My experience is that Jawbone (1 andyway, I don't have 2) is REALLY sensitive to the earbud fit. I had terrible volume and sound quality until I found an earbud that completely filled my ear canal. Then both volume and sound quality became fine. I had best luck with a Jabra eargel. (BTW, Aliph customer service was zero help with this.)

My ears must REALLY be off. I was looking for a way to turn up the treble. The sound it too bassy for me and I cannot understand callers all of the time. I am 52 and have some high frequency hearing loss so that could be the difference.

Thank you for sharing your experience.
My smart phone is Tilt (HTC 8925). I bought the first Jawbone II at AT&T shop, and exchanged it next day because of the very low level of output sound. A salesrep in a shop confirmed that it was the device's issues. I got the 2nd one, and exchanged it within next two days because of really bad quality of output sound. People could hear me, but I could not hear them clearly. All settings were correct.
I'm still playing with my Jawbone II #3, but people whom I've contacted to, still complained on the sound quality...
