"Great fit and price, but flat sound and bad cord" on by andyengineer
Pros: Very light, very comfortable, 90 degree plug, nice storage case, great sound isolation
Cons: Really disappointing sound quality, quite tinny and no deep bass, extremely tangle prone cord, would be nice if it came with a clip for the mic
Summary: Barely adequate sound quality. These have become my back up set now.

"Disappointing but adequate" on by RJ1717
Pros: Inline mic; one button access; smooth profile of mic
Cons: No discernable improvement in performance; low volume
Summary: When the headphones w/ mic provided to me with my BlackBerry by my Verizon dealer when I bought it a year ago broke I went in search of replacements. Being generally frugal I did not want to pay over $20 for a pair of 'phones with mic. I purchased a pair of PSP headphones with mic at Best Buy on clearance for $9.95. When I saw a coupon for the Klipsch SM-2 'phones for $19.95 at CompUSA I decided to 'upgrade'.
I knew Klipsch to be a good name in audio from many, many years back and expected good things. I am disapointed. First, the goof thingds- they are light, the oval shaped tips fit well in the ears and the profile of the microphone/one touch button is smooth so it won't catch on things.
Now, the not so good. The sound is weaker than the PSP 'phones. To get the same volume as the PSP 'phones I need to increase the volume by 1-2 steps (on a 10 step scale from my BB.) Oddly, the left and right channels are reversed from the PSP! (The mic is on the right side on both sets but the right channel on the PSP is the left on the Klipsch.) It seems to me that the sound quallity is a toouch better from the PSP 'phones than the Klipsch, a reeal surprise to me.
Both sets seem to dampen outside noise at the same efficiency.
ThePSP set also has a thicker cord which I assume may translate to longer term better 'survival'.
I am not saying they don't work and wouldn't satisfy the need but they are no better, and in my opinion a bit worse than the PSP 'phones becasuse of the lower volume. My recommendation - DON"T pay full price for these 'phones! -
"ecxellent sound quality." on by lickmoreshoes
Pros: punchy lows, clean mids, and nice highs. fits like powdered gloves.
Cons: cable is a bit thin.
Summary: i have been in the headphone market for several of years. I have tried many brands, sony, bose , ultimate ears, jvc, skull candy, to name some. But i ended up returning them, becouse they eather did not fit, or the sound quality did not satisfy me. I heard good reviews about klipsch, and decided to try some image s2. All i can say is that i do not know any other audio company other than klipsh. (p.s ultimate ears are a very good brand. Do not waste your money on skull candy.

"Excellent sound. But DOESN'T work well with iphone 4." on by thewsma13
Pros: Excellent sound quality and noise isolation
Cons: I use this for listening music on my iphone 4 while doing regular workout at gym. When the plug moves inside the 3.5 mm jack on iphone, either the music pauses, skips etc.
Also, the inline mic picks up the ambient noise and sends it into ears.Summary: A good value for money ($20), excellent sound quality and good for use with dedicated music players (without phone functionality).

"Great in-ear phones for the money!" on by rchatterjea
Pros: Good depth. Louder than Apple earphones. Blocks noise.
Cons: Chord could be better.
Summary: I bought these for $19.99 at Compusa. Doesn't hurt the pocket. I love the mic and I use it regularly with the iphone now. It's actually more functional and louder than the apple headphones that ship with the iphone..
