Pros This unit is ok for the someone new to bluetooth technology.
Cons Poor voice quality, non duplex, and doesn't fit ear well.
Summary good cheap product for either kids or as a backup to a good unit.
Pros Lightweight, fairly easy to use.
Cons Can't talk/hear at the same time. Don't put it in a pocket, it will redial the last number you called everal times. Don't use voice commands with ANY backround noise. You'll be answering "Did you say..." questions forever. Earbud not replaceable.
Summary It is lightweight and hardly noticible with the earbud cover. If you lose the non-removable earbud (trust me it comes off) you can't get a replacement and it is extremely uncomfortable without the rubber earbud cover. It's impossible to tell if it's on or off without cycling it a couple times and if you're not carefull you'll redial the last number instead of turning it off. I find I usually have to use the phone to dial numbers or check for messages because the microphone picks up any backround noise making the voice commands useless. Even if it's offered free with your new phone, trade up immediately if they'll let you.
Pros My 1st bluetooth. Very light weight, comfortable on my ear (can forget it's there!)
Cons Very noisy for the listener. NO duplex...only 1 person can talk at a time. The other person doesn't hear you at all while they are talking. Multifunction Button is too touchy.
Summary It's hard to tell when it's off or on. Multi-Function Button for everything but the volume is very frustrating. You have to guess what it's going to do depending on how long it thinks you've held it down. 1 second for this, 4 seconds for that. Barely touching the headset, I've redialed the last #, hung up on people by mistake several times.
No duplex - the conversation is not natural - the other person can't hear you when they are talking. No laughing, no Mmhmm's. When they are done talking, it's there's a lot of static. It also picks up a LOT of background noise...you can't be heard when in a moving vehicle w/ windows closed, fan and radio off.
While I was in love with it as a wireless, comfortable headset, I'm quite disappointed with it's quality. I'd go back to a wired headset if this was my only bluetooth/wireless choice. I'm looking for a new headset now.
