Though LG Electronics has plenty of Bluetooth cell phone accessories in its arsenal, they haven't always been too successful when it comes to style. The LG HBM-755, though tiny, satisfies the style quotient quite nicely with its compact size and reflective surface. It also helps that the HBM-755 is relatively cheap, about $50.
The smooth and reflective electric blue surface on the HBM-755 makes this one of the more attractive LG headsets we've seen. Measuring 1.75 inch long by 0.8 inch wide by 0.4 inch deep, the HBM-755 has a curved and lightweight body. It may not seem like there are any buttons on the device, but the top third of the front surface can be pressed down, and functions as the multifunction key. On the left spine is the volume rocker. There's a dedicated power key on top, and the charger jack is on the right. All keys were easy to use and press, plus we like that there's a dedicated power key. On top of the multifunction button is a blue LED that flashes when the HBM-755 is on.
Turn the headset around and you'll find a simple earpiece with a flexible plastic ear loop. We weren't thrilled with the size of earpiece--we would've preferred something that sank in a bit deeper in the ear--but it was a decent fit overall. We definitely recommend keeping the plastic ear loop, as it feels more secure than leaving it off. The ear loop is very thin and flexible, which we liked tremendously. We could even wear our glasses with the headset without any discomfort.
