"Uncomfortable and crappy microphone"
Pros: Inexpensive, Attractive Design, Decent Sound
Cons: Poor Microphone Quality, Extremely Uncomfortable
Summary: I picked this headset up last week to replace my previous one, who's mic had broke after two years of hard use at LANs and nightly Ventrilo with my clanmates. I've been extremely disappointed with the quality of them. While they look very attractive, with their behind-the-head style and exchangable 'earplates', the way the sharp plastic rests behind your ears becomes excrushiatingly painful after an hour or two of use. After a few nights of use I discovered that the headset was literally cutting into the skin at the top of my ears, and that at some point had caused me to bleed.
To had insult to injury, my clanmates complained about the drast reduction in my microphone quality with the new headset.
I'll be attempting to return these this weekend, but if they wont accept them back I'll just have to replace them. They're simply too uncomfortable and crappy to use.
Lesson learned: You get what you pay for.
