on by lexlewtherPros Provide great surround sound and allows for good sound whoring (if you're into that) on CoD: MW2/BlackOps/MW3. These have lasted me for a while and have been through a good deal of wear and tear. Still haven't broken down!
Cons Short cable from headset to main box.Mic can get disconnected sometimes. You need to keep it in one place and not moove it so often.
Summary Overall great sound and mic coverage. Love the AX720s and always use them to enhance the gaming experience/performance. It also helps when others are sleeping, so they don't have to hear the constant sounds of explosives going off or gunshots. First pair of headsets and thoroughly enjoy them.

Bass isn't the best but still pretty goodSummary I have had them for a month now and i was surprised on how good they were. Before this i had the px21 and i had them for about 6 months and then they broke...so i decided to get ax 720...they are a very good headset for its price beating out headsets $15 more and $15 less...The only problem i had was the bass which was not a problem with my px21 until the bass blew out so i would rather have an above average bass that doesn"t break than an amzing bass but the blows out in 6 months...ax 720 is a great headset for the people wanting a great headset but not a $300 Astro headset.

Summary these headphones are amazing its a must buy for ps3, not for xbox, i found this to be better on ps3 because on xbox if you move ur controlller it will create a static noise, and also the mic is not that good on xbox, but on ps3 these headsets are just incredible!!!

Poor mic designSummary Well after owning for 5 months, and using the mic for xbox live only a handful of times, the mic has broken and others can no longer hear me on xbox live. Tritton ignored all attempts to enquire about warranty, and have washed their hands of me.
I've now purchased the Turtle Beach X11's and despite not being 5.1 they are excellent.
If you want a top of the line headset go for the Astro's.
I won't ever be purchasing any Tritton (Mad Catz) products.
