"Nice product, but a few glitches"

3.5 stars  | on by yooyong

Pros

- Richer, deeper sound compared to standard non-USB headsets. Decent for listening to music.
- Decent build quality, comfortable.

Cons

-Constant, annoying 'your microphone volume is too low' messages when using Skype.
-Automatic muting of microphone on my notebook.
-This thing OVERHEATS. My ears get hot after a few minutes.

Summary

I bought this on sale for around $30 CAD, so a pretty good deal, but it is defective because of the overheating issue. I wish it had controls for treble and bass.

Pros

Nice and balanced sound, neat and clear bass mid and high frequencies, quality material for its price all around, great in and out sound quality for skype especially, noise cancelling works like a charm, comfort of usb input

Cons

Tight arch makes it really uncomfortable for extended use

Summary

A great bargain, you can even use it just for listening music, great skype performance
