Cons: Generates lots of hiss when noise cancelling is turned on, sound quality is still very far from natural, useless when the battery die (can not be used as a passive headphone without the batteries installed.
Summary: Forget this unit, pay a tad more and get PSB M4U-2 noise cancelling headphone instead. Built like a tank, hardly any added hiss in active mode, can be used as passive headphone without battery installed, accurate and natural enough to be used as a mastering studio reference headset.
