"the best for my needs" on by muscarul

Pros: long battery life, good range, can use it with my laptop for listen music or voip

Cons: if volume is too high, the person you are talking with can hear echo

Summary: few words about the H300 headset. I read tons of reviews about it, and many people cry out that this is a piece of s**t. Well, I don't think so. Among the most common reported problems was the echo and also the loose fit on the ear. Each problem has its own solving... For echo, just turn the headset volume a litte bit lower, and you will be surprised. You don't need to have it at maximum volume in every moment, right? I think this actually depends on the defness level of each of us And as for the second problem, the loose fit, it depend on the way you put it on your ear... If you just hang it, it will be loose. If you do it EXACTLY as stated in the manual that came with the headset (1.open the earhook 2. Loop the earhook over your ear and 3. Press the headset on your ear), the fit is perfect, you can wobble your head as you want, it won't be loose (the headset, not your head ). I Really like this headset.
Regarding the range... I managed to get 8-9 meters (that's like 25-30 feet), and only after that get static. So, I am the luckyest guy, or this headset is really good. And when you thonk that I never have to carry a headset charger, since it is AAA battery powered.... this is even better. I just use a rechargeable battery (I use dozens of them on all sort of electronic devices, so charging one or two for my headset won't be a problem) and everything is OK. Plus I can use it with my laptop, as a headset, and talk using skype, yahoo messenger and any other voip service. It's really nice to do that and wonder through the house :)

"Better than expected" on by pwh421

Pros: Price, looks, AAA battery, and ease of use

Cons: It's Heavy, Some echo, and AAA battery

Summary: This is a nice unit. I originaly purchesed the H500, but it was horrible (background noise, dropped calls, poor sound..). So I replaced it with the H300, and I'm very happy. The unit has good sound and excellnt range as well as hours of talk time and days of standby time, due to the AAA battery. Of course the trade off for al that use time is weight, It's fairly heavy. If your sensitive or have small ears this is not the device for you. If you're looking for a sturdy, easy to use, and inexpensing device the H300 is for you.

"Works Great For Me" on by leted_82

Pros: AAA Battery, Decent Call Quality, Affordable

Cons: A little loose on the ear

Summary: This is the first headset of this type I have purchased. I believe this product earns a 7 in this price category, however I can't compare it to the much higher priced versions because I haven't tried them. So far all calls are almost completly static free. Many reviews complain of the low volume level, but it is plenty loud for me, even while travelling in a car. The party on the other end has had no complaints about call quality. The headset stays attached to my ear, but sometimes feels as though it moves a little too much. Overall, for the price I paid I am definetly satisfied.

"Easy to use, average headset" on by niquee

Pros: Quickly paired with the phone; works great with rechargeable batteries; easy to use headset for quick calls

Cons: Sometimes difficult for others to understand me; ear loop breaks easily; can be uncomfortable for longer periods of time

Summary: Overall, this is a great headset and easy to set up with any phone. I wouldn't recommend it if you use your cell phone daily. You may want to look into something more durable. If you need a headset just for driving or in situations where you need to be hands-free, this will do the job. Anything more than that, I would keep looking for other headsets.
